Intense Training is a Fallout 3 Perk.
With the Intense Training Perk, you can put a single point into any of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes.

It is similar to the Gain (Statistic) Perk from Fallout 2. The main differences are that "Gain" let you choose each attribute only one time starting at level 12, while Intense Training lets you select any statistic each time you pick it and starts at level 2.
The main reason to take this perk is so as to get the required S.P.E.C.I.A.L. levels to get other perks (for example, an Endurance of 7. is required for the Solar-Powered perk).
