Iguana bits are a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.

BackgroundEdit

This item was carried over from the original Fallout, and was originally made by Iguana Bob Frazier who used the remains of corpses supplied by Doc Morbid.

CharacteristicsEdit

Iguana bits restore 5 Hit Points at the expense of increasing your radiation count by 3. They are commonly found on dinner plates all across the wasteland, from the various food vendors, or simply laying on the floor.

Survival Skill effectEdit

Note: Radiation is not affected by Survival skill level.

NotesEdit

• Despite this item being plentiful around the wasteland, live iguanas are never seen in any Fallout game.
• The base model for Iguana bits is used for several other consumables most notably Blood Sausage and Mushroom cloud.
