Historical Propriety is a two-star (★★) challenge added in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on, Gun Runners' Arsenal.

Challenge requirementsEdit

The player must kill Caesar with a knife or a combat knife.

EffectsEdit

Grants 500 XP upon completion.

• Using Chance's knife will count towards the challenge.
• This challenge is not repeatable.

Behind the scenesEdit

This is a reference to the death of Julius Caesar, when the conspiring senate surrounded him and stabbed him to death with daggers. It is also a reference to the conversation you may have with Arcade Gannon, if you enter The Fort with him as your companion and you choose to tell him that you plan to kill Caesar, he will commend you on your sense of historical propriety.
