A hammer is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas

UsesEdit

Fallout 3Edit

It is useful only as Rock-It Launcher ammunition, and can usually be found near workbenches. It cannot be used to repair anything, nor can it be used as a weapon.

Fallout: New VegasEdit

In Fallout: New Vegas, hammers don't serve any practical purpose. There is no reason to collect them; unlike for instance, wrenches, which are used in the creation of weapon repair kits.

Fallout 3Edit

• A slightly larger sized hammer can be found in the Temple of the Union near Caleb Smith's workplace, on top of a metal bench-object.
• A slightly smaller than average hammer can be found right next to the giant hammer, on the floor next to a bottle of turpentine and a toolbox. Both size variants of the hammer can be taken freely, without being considered stolen.

Fallout: New VegasEdit

• 30 in the Nellis Hangars, 15 in each hangar.
• 11 in the REPCONN test site's basement.
• 7 in Vault 11's living quarters.
