Guardian drones are alien robots encountered on board Mothership Zeta.
Characteristics
Guardian drones are a more advanced variant of the support drone which carries a drone cannon and does a considerable amount of damage. If you obtain the drone control device, they can be used as followers with a maximum of one at a time. Just like robots in the Capital Wasteland, they can be deactivated once the player acquires the Robotics Expert perk.
You can shoot their hover platforms to temporarily disable their movement. Guardian drones can have their cannon shot off, and they are able to re-equip it.
Notes
- Guardian drones are not very common until after the space walk.
Appearances
Guardian drones appear in the Fallout 3 add-on Mothership Zeta.
Bugs
Sometimes if two pods are directly next to each other, you can have two robots following you at one time.
