Grudd Bear is a slave in The Pitt in 2277.

Background

Grudd Bear fights in The Hole with his brother John Bear. Together, the two of them are undefeated prior to arrival of the Lone Wanderer.

Relationships

Grudd is the brother of John Bear. Given that Paladin Kodiak of the Brotherhood of Steel was rescued as an infant from the Pitt, is African-American, and name is "Greg Bear", it is possible that he is related to the Bear brothers.

Quests

• Unsafe Working Conditions: The Bear brothers are the second round's only opponents. Grudd will attack with his Flamer while his brother slashes through your armor with a Deathclaw gauntlet. You'll need to kill both brothers to progress through the arena.

Notes

• Faydra, coordinator of events in The Hole (The Pitt), comments on how the Bear brothers ferocity leads people to believe that they are half Trog. It is unknown if this is certain, however.
