- Greg Peterson joined Interplay Productions in 1998, after ten years experience in packaged goods marketing positions outside of the games industry. He was the head of marketing for the newly-created Black Isle Studios, Interplay’s Role-Playing Games division. While at Black Isle, he worked on titles Fallout 2, Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape: Torment, Baldur’s Gate II, and other titles and compilations.
In 2000, he founded eMusement, Inc., a MMORPG developer, with industry associates and members of Sony Online’s Everquest team, including Kevin McPherson, Guido Henkel, and Daniele Gaetano. They signed a development deal with Square, Inc., to develop an online super-heroes game for the North American market. Square was forced to drop the project in 2001 due to financial pressures they were under as a result of their unprofitable foray into the films industry.
He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Northwestern University.
