Giant rat meat is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.

Giant rat meat is the raw filleted meat of giant rats. It can often be looted from giant rat corpses.
It is one of the few meats in the Mojave Wasteland that is not used in crafting other consumables.
It should not be confused with the rat meat sold by Genaro in Freeside.

- Note: Radiation is not affected by Survival skill level.
LocationsEdit
This is a list of fixed non-random places where you can find giant rat meat.
- It can be found in the Broc Flower Cave.
- In some parts of the New Vegas Sewers, most notably in the East central sewers.
- In Cerulean Robotics located in Freeside.
- There are several giant rats in Vault 11, close to the 188 Trading Post.
- In and around Camp Guardian.
NotesEdit
- Two children can be seen chasing a giant rat around Freeside. Though they never catch the rat on their own, they will gather around and noisily devour chunks of meat from it should the player kill it. Nevertheless, a giant rat meat can still be found in the dead rat's inventory.
