This [[Gekko]] quest will activate after quest 4, when you bring [[Skeeter]] a Tool Kit, but only if you are carrying at least one weapon that he can upgrade. He can upgrade weapons once for each time he has been brought a 3-step plasma transformer while an upgrade is not currently available. Speak with Skeeter. 
Get a part requisition form. 
Speak with Jeremy and take the part. 
Give the part back to Skeeter.

Walkthrough

This Gecko quest will activate after you bring Skeeter a super tool kit, but only if you are carrying at least one weapon that he can upgrade. He can upgrade weapons once for each time he has been brought a 3-step plasma transformer while an upgrade is not currently available. The quest need not be active for him to give you an upgrade.

There are three ways of obtaining 3-step plasma transformers, and you can get an upgrade for each one you bring to him.

  • Give Jeremy, in the reactor, the part requisition form from Harold's house.
  • Give Jeremy the form that Festus carries. If you ask Festus for it, you can make up any of four excuses and get it if you pass a Speech check or if he likes you; or steal it, or barter for it.
  • Jeremy has the final 3-step plasma transformer in his inventory; it can't be bartered for, only stolen.

Asking Jeremy for a "moss covered three handled gredunza" redirects the conversation back to his list of things you want again.

Return to Skeeter and he'll give you 350 XP and a free weapon upgrade.
