King George III (June 4, 1738 – January 29, 1820) was the King of Great Britain from 1760 until 1820. He was the monarch whom the American War of Independence was fought against.[1]

He was the answer of a question at the National Archives' pop quiz terminals.[1] He is also mentioned by the Button Gwinnett Protectron,[2] as well as Abraham Washington.[3]
