Garl Death-Hand was the leader of the Khans around 2161.
Contents |
[edit] Background
Garl held Tandi hostage and the Vault Dweller was asked by her father, Aradesh (the leader of Shady Sands) to save her.
Garl was eventually killed by the Vault Dweller, along with all other Khans save one, called Darion, who continued the Khans legacy, carrying on in Fallout 2 as the New Khans.
[edit] Interactions with the player character
Because the Khans were originally from Vault 15, if the Vault Dweller wears the jumpsuit, he apparently looks like Garl's father, the original Death-Hand and original leader of the Khans. Everyone in the camp gets freaked out by the "ghost of Death-Hand" returning, as apparently, Garl killed his father to gain control of the gang. It is also possible to save Tandi from Garl.
[edit] Inventory
Garl has the following items in his inventory:
| Apparel | Weapon | Other item | On death |
|---|---|---|---|
| Metal Armor | Desert Eagle | 4 clips of .44 Magnum JHP Booze |
All of the above |
[edit] Quotes
- Garl's some dumb-ass who thinks he can take over the world with his crummy raiders. Yeah, whatever. - Ian about Garl
- He leads the Khans. He is one of the most dangerous men that has ever set eyes on Shady Sands. He leads the raider clans with a heavy fist. - Razlo about Garl
