Gallo is the name of a ghoul found inside the County Sewer Mainline, which is accessed either through a manhole in the Sewer Waystation or southeast of Wilhelm's Wharf. Despite his unique name, Gallo is not part of a quest and is inherently hostile to the player.

Gallo has a small Nuka-Cola collection, and keeps a pen of small Radroaches as pets. Gallo also appears to be a cannibal, as he stores dead feral ghouls in his refrigerator and has several plates of strange meat. In his room there is a safe containing a Nuka-Cola Quantum, also of note is two small Nuka-Cola Trucks, and on his person can be found a Party Hat as well as Gallo's Storage Key. The key can be used to access a storage closet with a substantial number of workbench items.

The book Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor can be found in Gallo's possession. The player must either kill or pickpocket Gallo to obtain this book from him.

One of the two entrances to Gallo's room is straddled by two garden gnome statues. Gallo seems to be wearing his birthday hat to mimic the look.

If the player has the Lawbringer perk, then Gallo will have a finger on his corpse.

[edit] Appearances

Gallo only appears in Fallout 3.

[edit] Notes

  • If you drop a weapon in front of him, he will pick it up and use that instead of his own weapon to attack you.
  • Amusingly, if his health drops too low, he may run out of his room and trigger one of his own traps, killing him (providing you left his traps untriggered).
  • Like Sierra Petrovita, Gallo seems to have a small library of Nuka Cola collectibles including a truck, 5 bottles, 5 Nuka Cola bar stools, a Nuka Cola clock above his bed, a Nuka cola lamp on his table (same as when Nuka Cola vending machine is purchased for safehouse) and lastly, a Quantum in his safe( it may be possible that the low levels of radiation from Nuka Cola turned him into a ghoul.)
  • Gallo also seems to own one of the few Radiation King televisions still in pristine condition on his shelf near the Pre-War books.
  • It is also possible that Gallo's Storage Key is found in a footlocker near his bed, instead of on his corpse.

[edit] Behind the scenes

  • The name Gallo may also refer to Vincent Gallo (actor, director), or Paul "Jay" Gallo who made Duck and Cover the second oldest fallout fan site.
  • Rad-X and Radaway can both be found around Gallo's quarters. While useful to the Lone Wanderer, radiation has a healing effect on ghouls, making both drugs useless to Gallo. (Though if as mentioned in notes he may have become a ghoul through excessive use of Nuka-Cola, the drugs may be a reference to a last ditch effort made to cure himself of the radiation).
