“Characters that are part of your team are highlighted green in combat instead of red, if you have this Perk. Red highlighted characters may still be non-hostile towards you.”— in-game description, Fallout
Friendly Foe is a Fallout perk.
Effect
With this perk, characters that are your companions and your allies (like members of a caravan if you escort a caravan for example) are highlighted green in combat instead of red, allowing you to avoid the confusion friends-enemies.
Note
- Except if you're not careful who you target in combat, this perk is not very useful and it would be a shame to take it, because in Fallout, you can only take 7 perks.
- Green highlighting is the default setting in Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics, so the perk was removed.
