The fresh apple is a food item found in Fallout: New Vegas.

Fresh apples can restore Hit Points without causing irradiation at the same time, unlike most common fruits still found in the wastelands. Fresh apples are one of the few edible food items that is not irradiated, besides other fresh fruits or vegetables, and food found in a non-compromised vault. Additionally, in hardcore mode, it can reduce the player's Starvation and Dehydration.
Fresh apples are an ingredient in Trail mix.

- They can sometimes be found on Legion troops.
- Certain Fiend bases will also have them, for instance, the shelf near Cook-Cook.
- The kitchen behind an easy locked door in Vault 3 has 4 apples on the shelves.
- Three are available in The Tops presidential suite: 2 near the bar, and one on a shelf in a metal cabinet in the kitchen.
- One is located on a plate in The Tops restaurant. It must be stolen.
- There are five in the Atomic Wrangler: in the kitchen area behind a very hard locked door. They must also be stolen, and if either Garret spots you in the room, they will follow you until you leave.
- There is one on a plate at the dining table in the Great Khan longhouse. It must be stolen.
- There is one in a box in the mess tent at Camp McCarran. It must be stolen.
- Rarely, some traveling merchants may have one in their inventory.
- Sometimes found on Jackal gang members.
- 1-2 can be found in the Ultra-Luxe kitchen,on a counter top, where Philippe cooks.
