Frans Poptie (March 3, 1918 - December 31, 2010) was a Dutch jazz violinist, in addition to the violin, he also played the clarinet and saxophone.

Poptie played with, among others, Eddy Christiani and the VARA-dance band. In 2002 he gave up playing the violin because of of his age.

Fallout 3Edit

The song "Rhythm For You", performed by Poptie with Eddy Christiani, is used in Fallout 3 and played on Galaxy News Radio.
