Background[]

Notes[]

  • If the player character interrupts the conversation between Ymir and Frank before Ymir kills him, Frank will not be killed. However, as Frank is meant to be killed, he is not available to trade, even though he is a bartender, and there will be no dialogue options available apart from ending conversation.
  • Aggravating the slavers will also make Frank hostile, causing him to attack the player character with his bat.
  • Ymir and Frank may still have their conversation even if both of them are attacking the player character.

Appearances[]

Frank appears only in Fallout 3.

  1. Fallout 3 Official Game Guide Game of the Year Edition p. 73:
    "Frank:
Captured a few months back during a raid just north of Megaton, Frank has yet to adjust to life as a servant and acts up constantly. He's been placed in charge of drinks at the bar, as bar patron Ymir doesn't take kindly to his drinks being spilled."
  2. Fallout 3 Official Game Guide Game of the Year Edition p. 103:
    "Ymir:
Ymir and his son Jotun are Paradise Falls's pair of knuckleheads. Jotun has difficulty forming basic sentences, while his father is a jovial madman, armed with a horrific-looking Super Sledge, like his son's. Ymir isn't fond of Frank the bartender and makes this abundantly clear by bludgeoning Frank to death. He loves drinking, fighting, and drinking some more, rounding a day off with a spot of fighting."
