Hi Folks,
I'm calling for a decision on joining the Wikia Alliances. The old discussion seemed to have fizzled without much consensus being agreed.
The 3 Alliances, and wikis involved can be found here. You'll see theres 2 smaller Fallout wikis in the Sci Fi alliance, with one of those also being in the fantasy alliance.
Given our natural links to Beth's Fantasy games, I'm proposing that we join both the Sci Fi and Fantasy Alliances.
Like other wiki policies, 10 votes are required for Quorum. I'll present 3 options.
- If you wish the wiki to abstain from all allainces, vote none ONLY.
- If you wish the wiki to join the Sci Fi alliance ONLY, vote for the Sci Fi alliance ONLY
- If you wish the wiki to join the Fantasy alliance, vote for the Fantasy alliance ONLY
- If you wish to join both, vote for both.
Each of the 2 alliances will be considered successful subject to at least 10 unqiue users participating between all 3 options, AND each alliance getting at least a vote from 50% or more of the total participants
ie:
- if there are 12 voters, and we get 4 no, 4 Scifi and 4 fantasy, we join none (as no alliance has more than 50% of the users)
- If there are 12 votes as we get 4 no, 6 Scifi and 6 Fantasy we join both (as you can vote for multiple alliances)
- If there are 12 votes as we get 4 no, 4 for sci fi, and 6 for fantasy, then we join the fantasy only.
A vote for Scifi and a vote for Fantasy counts as 1 user for quorum purposes. People who vote Yes for an alliance and No will not be counted for quorum purposes.
Hope this makes sense. Agent c (talk) 21:02, March 7, 2013 (UTC)

- I think it is grasping at straws to fit us in any alliance. Maybe if the categories were based on FPS, RPG, TDS, etc. As of now I don't see us fitting in with this concept. nihil novi sub sole 02:39, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
Yes to Sci Fi Alliance
Note: if you vote here, you can also vote for the Fantasy alliance.
- both of these fit in different ways so why not do both? Richie9999 (talk)

Just to clarify, if Nukapedia joins the Alliance, we will recieve 2 templates. Both will be updated by the staff about the latest news from other Wikis about something. If Nukapedia joins, there will be some chance that any Fallout 4 news (or any great news) will be on the template. Energy X 21:53, March 7, 2013 (UTC)
The Time to Play image link is removed. Might as well replace it an Alliance one. Always good for some extra promotion. Jspoel 18:00, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
