I want to see the NE coast of the US. They hinted too heavily about The Institute not to include it in the next game, and it just happens to be located in Massachusetts. Cambridge/Boston could be the 'central city', (i.e. D.C.), along with Eastern NY and the Greater Albany region. Either Northeastern Connecticut or Southern Vermont could be added in for a little more 'wasteland' around the two major cities, although there would be plenty of empty space without them.

Of course, I already pitched my ideas about why western/central NY would be awesome, I just think that Albany/Boston is a more logical location given what was hinted at in FO3, and the fact that the other locations that were hinted at have been added in with DLC means that we most likely won't be revisiting those locations any time soon, (i.e. The Pitt and Point Lookout)

I'm actually kind of fond of the concept they had originally had for Fallout Tactics 2, with the player needing to travel to Florida to stop an out-of-control GECK that was turning the already treacherous swamplands into a mutated deathtrap. Despite any misgivings that folk might have had about the FOT franchise overall, I felt that the concept art for the canceled sequel was pretty impressive. You could have better established settlements and the like in the north, near the panhandle - possibly with a large or major one near where the capitol once stood, and then the further south you went the more wild and overgrown the terrain would become. Also, there would be tribes of cannibals, to stalk you through the swamp jungle. And Disney Land! SagaDC 17:41, December 7, 2009 (UTC)

:: Las Vegas is a decent, albeit overused location. Personally, I'd rather see a Setting in Michigan. Using the great lakes a strategic water purifier locations. Anyone thinking its going to be outside of the US is dreaming. It just wouldnt be the same. They might as well give it cell shading and more than a million guns. Whatever we get, it should feature tribals, but hopefully not the Enclave again. Or if they really want to use the Enclave make their dastardly plot a bit different from their FO2/FO3 ambitions. I guess you're right, as Fallout isn't about nuclear fallout per se, more about crazy 50s future US after it's been bombed to smithereens by chinese. --Toast 22:07, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

Actually it would be cool if the game starts out, your just this ordinary wastelander but you slowly become more powerful and influential in your part of the wastes. However theres no radio message to alert you of other locations you simply stumble across a boat that takes you to Canada, if you provide the captain of the boat with enough flamer fuel, stimpacks and water and food he can take you Europe. If you ask to go to China, he points you to another person who has managed to get a plane working on energy cells, microfusion cells. This could be a quest to find these items but if you have any alien power cells on you... you can go the whole trip without needing to stop. You can still go to other parts of America like the capital wasteland, Midwest, West Coast, Point Lookout the Ptt and many more locations. Each location will have its own story, unique weapons and characters.

I think that the San Diego Harbor and some of TJ would be really cool with the navy base and all.

London. And one of the expansions should be into northern France through the Chunnel. London is the Fallout 4 cash-cow.Pinkynperky04 16:23, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Canada all the way, man. Mutant polar bears, Mutant gophers, Mutant lumberjacks, green beer, you name it. Not to mention everyone being more polite than you're used to in Fallout. Now THAT would be scary! --Toast 19:43, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

idahofalls and twinfalls

I think London is a good one... Or maybe just like some huge area like parts of multiple states in the US so it's like TES4

Fallout 4 should be in New Orleans.--Chipgambino 21:41, November 29, 2009 (UTC)

I have an idea for London. Without the luxury of power armor, a major faction makes the Imperial War Museum their head quarters and manages to get some of the stuff working in there again ( like a Panzer tank running on fusion cells or a chieftain tank). The factions could be something like the New British Parliment or the Royal Family. What do you think of this idea? Sec 19 20:52, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
