There's an interesting note in the original overseer terminal in Vault 81. One of the entries suggests that Vault 81 had advanced warning from Vault-Tec about the nukes, as much as hours earlier. Could this suggest that Vault-Tec was somehow involved (or at least aware) with launching the first nuke? --TigerXtrm (talk) 17:08, November 29, 2015 (UTC)

The evidence provided in fallout 4 says otherwise, because vault 114 is unfinished. why would vault tech ever orchestrate the launch of the great war before all of their experiments, the true reason for project safehouse's existance, were completed? I'm certain that vault tech had some form of advanced warning, as the USA knew several hours in advance that there were sightings of possible chinese bombers off of alaska. 75.91.46.172 17:18, November 29, 2015 (UTC)

Push You Down (talk) 19:49, January 6, 2016 (UTC) The impression I had was that 114 was unfinished because of rampant corruption with the construction crew.
