Raella - Of ALL of the Power Armours, which one is the coolest looking? Which one in best stat-wise. Post both and let me know what you think! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I think the coolest looking Power Armour is the Outcast Power Armour, and the one with the best abilities is either T-51b or Ashur's Power Armour. -Raella
Actually, In looks I'd say it'd be the Tesla Armor, it's just so bad ass looking. I even think the stats are just as beneficial as the T-51b, but I never use it otherwise. and Ashur's may be jsut as good stat-wise well. Xdarkdragonx 03:19, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I think winterized T51-b is the best for looks and regular T51-b for stats, T51-b was one of the latest versions of power armour and it looks better than T4-x power armour (exept for the helmet).
Personally I think the Tribal Power Armor is the best statistically, since it gives an AP-boost, and I use VATS alot. I like it (and Ashurs Power Armor) by the looks also, but the best looking is actually the regular Brotherhood Armor in my book. Don't know why really, just find it kinda "clean" (in absence of a better word). --KillerIsMe 19:38, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I think that outcast power armour looks best, it just looks so... badass, and T51b in full condition is the best stat-wise.BTW: i have never worn my T51b, i just killed crowly by using mr.sandman and gave the armor 2 charon straight away.Silent.Killa78 05:24, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
None I still run around in Armoured 101 Vault Suit. I ain't no coward like the rest of ya'll. ^^ Gabriel77cortez 13:16, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- If it were repairable, gimme a suit of T-51b! But since it isn't repairable, I just equip Star Paladin Cross with it, and Charon with the Winterized T-51b. Myself, I just use regular BoS PA.
also maybe combine some armors. I combined (well it's quite not-original but watever) winterised combat helmet with winterised t-51b armor, look pretty cool. gives you more of a feeling of a tank, because now you see the real scale of your head against the size of the power amor. other examples; bos power armor+metal helmet (hey, i'm going to try that one) enclave p o+pre war hatRG (xbox) 17:27, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I dig the Prototype Medic Armor or the Tesla, but mostly the Medic. TIME TO KICK SOME ASS!NIX510 22:58, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
There is no "best power armor". Most of them take away a point or two from Agility which decreases the efficiency of any Small Gun and the efficiency of sneaking for a crit. I use Ashur's Power Armor with Poplar's Hood to cancel out the Agility penalty.
Sometimes I like using Linden's Outcast Power Armor just for the looks. -Jet-
Winterized T51-B has no agility ding and it does not degrade - looks cool and has the best ongoing DR due to lack of degradation. I think Tesla Armor looks the coolest (also no agility ding). Tribal power armor looks cool and has an AP +15 effect... those are the three suits I wear - BTW Crazy Wolfgang can repair T51-B up to 75% if you invest in his caravan at cantebury commons... Is it proven the the Winterized T51-B that you get after completing the Op Anchorage mission doesn't degrade? I know that the things you get in the sim glitch don't but I wasn't sure about the armot that's in the armory.Angelonedge 04:33, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
I have worn the Winterized T51-B for an entire play through and it has not degraded at all. The item value and DR have stayed the same throughout. The condition meter stays full. It says on the post in the item section of this wiki that it is actually has an item health of 10 million, which is technically finite, but in gameplay it effectively infinite....Pgoon 04:47, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Sweet I was going to put the armor on Clover when I got her but now I might think about just putting it on myself. Currently I'm using Tesla Armor as I think it looks so badass but with a BOS helmet as I don't like the Enclave helmets. If the Winterized T-51B doesn't degrade though I'll probably just use that so I don't have to worry about repairing.Angelonedge 05:04, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah - I give the regular T51-B power armor to my follower - because armor they wear never degrades - I keep the Winterized for myself ... heheh...Pgoon 05:39, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
The new enclve power armor in the broken steel screenshot, fuck the rest of them,i just want that specific one Werewolfhell 14:29, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
I have been wearing the Tribal Power Armor lately, for the AP +15 bonus - plus it looks pretty cool. have been wearing that with LeDoux's Hockey Mask, Action Boy, and Grim Reaper's Sprint. I am pretty much an ass-kicker right now... I have not had time to get the new Broken Steel Armor yet - but it looks awesome...Pgoon 16:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Its a draw between hellfire power armor and t-5lb,me?i just equip clover and jericho with this weapon and a heavy incinerator, get that gear myself and go on a fun rampage Werewolfhell 16:16, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
I'd say the new Enclave Hellfire Power Armor surpasses the T-51b due to the fact that the armor is found on enemy spawns, so you can keep it in complete perfect condition, rather than having to hunt down a well invested Crazy Wolfgang to keep your T-51b only up to 75% health. The Hellfire armor has slightly lower Rad-Resit. but seriously, when has radiation been that big of a concern? I find the Fire Resistance from the Hellfire armor to be much more useful; just pop some rad-x if you really need it. Not to mention, I like the look of the Hellfire Armor a lot more than the T-51b...just my opinion though. --Esscex 04:47, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
I haven't seen some of the ones you guys are talking about but the Tesla armor is pretty pimp. Too bad Clover's ass doesn't look too great in it.

Looks: Ashur's power armor. Stats: depends on what you like. I prefer the winterized T-51b due to the fact that it never degrads (so to speak), and has a total DR of 55 (helmet+armor). That coupled with the Barkskin, Cyborg, Toughness, and Pitt Fighter perks (and of course the tough version of the Survivor Guru perk), you have a max DR.

I honestly can't stand the look of the Hellfire Helmet. IMO it makes you look like a dog somewhat. I go for the Tribal Power armor for the AP boost since I use Vats all the time. Plus I do the chinese stealth armor trick and wear Poplar's Hood to get the agility back. For head wear I choose the Tesla Helmet as imo it looks best with the Tribal Armor.Angelonedge 03:16, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
I think I'm still probably alone in thinking that the garden variety Enclave armor, minus the helmet, looks pretty cool. I'd like to re-skin a set with a tempered titanium (metallic beige fading to metallic blue) color scheme, and give it more impressive stats. I like the Tribal armor's stats, and I like the regular power armor helmet. The hellfire helmet looks good with metal armor, and at night with the glowing eyes. Late in the game, the hellfire or winterized T51-b are probably the most practical if you care about damage resistance. Imp of the Perverse 19:38, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
I prefer the winterized T51-B since I hate having to repair even my A3-21 rifle and it degrades slowly. Though DR wise I think enclave hellfire armor is the best.
My favourite armor is the T-51B, not only am I obsessed with any pre-war technology but it is still stronger than anything the Enclave can come up with(except maybe the Hellfire) and it just looks so cool, I feel so imposing when I'm wearing it, and the winterized version is just so clean! SupremeCommanderGrief (talk) 05:22, September 27, 2012 (UTC)
I prefer the Winterized T-51B, considering the fact that it has almost ten million HP points. The only fault this armor has compared to it's twin, the T-51B power armor is that it only has 45 DR instead of 50. So if your a money saver and want indestructible armor, you know what armor you need.
