There's a fairly popular Fallout 3 mod called COMM that's been out for a while. It adds a speedboat near Rivet City that takes you to an island somewhere outside of the wastes. When you get there, there's a submarine to explore, some unique vendors, and a guy growing pot hydroponically in a setup similar to the one the tribals have. It all sort of smacks of Point Lookout, but has been around for a while. There are also some similarities to Half Life 2 - the lighthouse is similar to the one you fire rockets from, and the coastal area has the same overcast, bleak, rundown feel. The giant punga plant could be straight out of the console game Onimusha. Anybody notice anything else (apart from Sloth from The Goonies)? Imp of the Perverse 21:19, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I was under the impression that the vendors at COMM sell nude armors... Also, where the hell else are they gonna grow the pot? Just doing my job. 21:21, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Prudhoe. We have a our fair share of drug dealers :(. Fat Man Spoon 21:24, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Thaaaaat's why it's so green! Mail me some! XD (Yes, all Wisconsinites are crackheads) Just doing my job. 21:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, there probably were nude armors, I'm pretty sure there's a giant dildo melee weapon. I uninstalled it because none of the NPCs talked, and the katana mod that made me install it in the first place wasn't as good as another one that I found. Imp of the Perverse 21:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

We ARE ON TOPIC. The topic is drugs, mods, and PL. Also, why is there not a mod for a Nuka-Cola colored T51-b? Why was this not included in PL? Oh yeah, ESRB. Bastards. Just doing my job. 21:32, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I recently played a vanilla copy of F3, I think I've been spoilt by mods it was so boring. Pararaptor 03:10, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

I played through about 4 times before trying any mods, something I haven't done with any other game, so vanilla's not bad. What I'm playing right now though only loosely resembles the original game. I think the best change so far is FOOK's reworking of Talon Company mercenaries, or maybe rain & snow (lightning is cool).

Here's half of my Phalanx posse - from left to right, Jericho, Star Paladin Cross, Clover, Charon.
