I was just reading on the Fallout 3 website and they have pictures for Broken Steel. One of these pictures is of a new Super Mutant "Overlord" what do you think makes them unique? here is a picture below with one wielding a gattling laser and the other wielding what might be the new laser rifle. Post what you think below. Silent.Killa78 >:) 09:26, 22 April 2009 (UTC) File:Supermutant Overlord.jpg

Woah thats cool, was there anything else? Can you post a link? DipCheese 11:09, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Heh... Finally Fawkes gets some competition! AngryNorwegianDude 15:35, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps these are the "intelligent" super mutants that are organizing all the others?67.211.81.140 16:49, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Cavesloth

Well, that may be, but they look like they are yelling: "I'll eat your arms when you are dead!!!" or something in that fashion. They are stated as enemies in the description of the DLC, and they look kinda bad to me... AngryNorwegianDude 18:48, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Maybe these ones will be more like the Super Mutants in the original series: Understands basic English, but still bloodthirsty. Kinda like Fawkes.

I wonder what place they get in the story anyway - the Lone Wanderer cleared Vault 87 after all (except for the inaccessable Great Chamber). 90.186.209.128 20:16, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I cannot wait to fight them. They look so cool, and if all of them have weapons like gatling lasers and tri-laser rifles, then they could really be a challenge. Broeman 20:47, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, i agree with everyone. Maybe I might actually die from playing very hard and versing super mutants. Silent.Killa78 >:) 23:40, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I wonder how they will compare with the Super Mutant Behemoths. I would like to see these Super Mutant Overlords as a sort of "Pure" or "Perfect Form" super mutant, with the durability and raw power of a Behemoth, but being more agile, and intelligent, making them ungodly powerful enemies. I will definitely be jacking up the difficulty to test out these guys on May 5th. I can only hope that Bethesda makes sure a non-corrupt version gets on the market place.--Esscex 05:54, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

These look like great and challenging enemies. I can't wait to face them in battle. -Xandus the Legend

Agreed. Let's hope they aren't plasma-proof... AngryNorwegianDude 09:04, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Maybe these mutants were made from "PURE" humans thus making them more intelligent, agile and at the same time, deadly,or maybe there a mixture of west coast and east coast mutants

West coast factors:Understand english

East coast factors:Non mutilated and deadlier

if you mix those factors, they'd probably be overlords

one last hthing:Maybe there ceremonial in the mutant system? Werewolfhell 12:51, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
