Been fiddling with the skin a bit.

  • Made buttons in the page bar smaller so we get less pages with 2-line-pagebars. The talk pages still do this, but only for admins.
  • Round corners everywhere (for most browsers except IE).
  • Made footer readable.
  • Fixed various issues with the text color of Wikia buttons (like "Create a new wiki" above).

What do you think of it? Keep/revert/change? -- Porter21 (talk) 19:28, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

I've been waiting for someone to do this for so long! Great job Porter, I say it stays. Yes! Nukey (talk) (blog) 19:30, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

I'd rather keep straight corners. And is it possible to turn the green bar into a normal background as well? --Light Daxter - Talk 21:22, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Removing the background color of the top bar is pretty easy. I haven't done so because our main background doesn't provide a lot of contrast for text which is displayed directly on it, at least for colors which would fit our overall color scheme. Long story short, the user links in the top right become more or less unreadable if I remove the background color. -- Porter21 (talk) 06:38, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

I like the rounded edges. I've never seen a 2-lined header bar thing before, though. I guess it depends on the browser? The text before didn't seem too big for me. But yeah, I approve of the changes :D Metalspork (word vomit) 07:48, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

It's possible it varies between browsers; it may depend on how the browser interprets the font size settings. I guess it's most noticable for admins since we have a few extra buttons in the pagebar ("delete", "protect"). Basically it looked like this: http://yfrog.com/5upagebarp -- Porter21 (talk) 08:16, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Now we just need a proper skin for mobile users. :,( 216.23.121.160 21:34, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
