Let us discuss about the character's quotes. As many seem to undo the edit because "5 quotes are max per page", I believe we should make some exceptions.
The exceptions include:
Player characters
Companions
Antagonists
What do you think of it? EnergyX∞ 17:55, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
The solution is very simple. The entire notable quotes section can be made into a collapsible section where only the top 5 quotes show, but as many as you like can be listed. The only time you'll see the extra quotes is when you click the "expand" button. No page clutter, as many quotes as you like. Or, as an alternative, use the rotating template I made to have 5 different quotes show on the page each day. Either way, KISS. The Gunny 19:31, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Rotating content is good for locals only. Irregular visitors (the ones we are working for), will miss out on all the fun. --Theodorico (talk) 19:47, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
I agree. I prefer the use of the rotating template for the page top quotes. I'd rather see an expandable section for "Notable quotes". The Gunny 20:07, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Throw in Muggy, and i'm both hands agree. --Theodorico (talk) 19:37, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Sounds great. First, however, I'd need an allowance from bureaucrats. EnergyX∞ 19:38, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Since the issue of "clutter" is actually restricting the amount of content we have, I'm all for this. --Skire (talk) 19:41, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Very nice. I think that "clutter" isn't an argument any more. --Theodorico (talk) 20:16, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
I've made it into a template (after about 100 tries):
Question:
How many edits does it take me to make a collapsing content template?
Answer:
HOLY BATSHIT, BATMAN! It actually WORKS!
As you can see, it's completely customizable, so it could be used for just about anything. The Gunny 13:10, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
Template {{Collapsible_content}} is now in the template space if anyone wants to try it out. Let me know if you find any problems with it, please. The Gunny 22:46, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
