Seems there a name has been registered for a new DLC after Broken Steel. Point Look: http://www.estarland.com/product33126.html http://shopping.msn.com/specs/fallout-3-expansion-pack-broken-steel-point-look-for-microsoft-xbox-360-pre-order/itemid1167918205/?itemtext=itemname:fallout-3-expansion-pack-broken-steel-point-look-for-microsoft-xbox-360-pre-order
So shall we start the speculation? Web scouring for more info.
I'll just start off by saying this, does anyone else think that's a really lame name?22.214.171.124 17:25, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Cavesloth
Yes, yes i do. And I'm hoping it's fallouts version of shivering isles. DragonJTS 17:26, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
What the hell is this supposed to feature, then? Epic landscape viewing? Maybe it is misspelled: It could be Fallout Point Click: The awesome, post-apocalyptic series! Now as a point-and-click game! And yeah, the name is lame. Someone is sooo fired from the Bethesda Game Naming Department... AngryNorwegianDude 18:37, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
No, it's called Point Lookout, not Point Look. It's rumored to be the 4th DLC, since some retail sites have put up pages for a DLC-on disk combo to be released in June, featuring Broken Steel and Point Lookout.²\ Broeman 21:58, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
The ones I have say Point Look. Can you post links to one that say Point Lookout (still a lame name, but less so that just Point Look). 126.96.36.199 05:24, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Cavesloth
Ah I looked up Point Lookout, it's state park on the peninsula near Chesapeake Bay, at the mouth of the Potomac River. Coincidence? I think not. Sounds the Lone Wandering is thinking of taking a camping trip lolz.188.8.131.52 05:35, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Cavesloth
- Lol, sounds epic! I hope it'll add some different terrain to explore.--Esscex 07:40, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I'm really scratching my head about this. It has it's own page under DLC. Bethesda hasn't confirmed it, yet somehow you can already pre-buy it in some stores? How can you pre-buy a game that the company hasn't even said existed? I know it's a rumor but Bethes said only 3 DLC's; there is no talks about a 4th and they're already making Las Vegas which is a whole new game. So is Point Lookout only a fans wish or is there any truth to the rumor?Angelonedge 02:01, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Bethesda isn't actually making Las Vegas, I think they're only publishing it or something. It's ebing made by the people who made Fallout 2. Plus if anything, Bethesda probably already has a division of the game developers working on The Elder Scrolls V. --Esscex 02:04, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah that's true about Las Vegas. But what do you think about the 4th "rumored" DLC. Is Bethesda really going to release a 4th or is it just bs?Angelonedge 02:10, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- To tell you the truth, it sounds like a small, extra content DLC, nothing game changing or quest adding, I'm guessing a new house DLC, similar to the ones in Oblivion. Nothing they'd release a trailer for. --Esscex 05:11, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
A new house? That might not be so bad. I'm getting tired of the one in Megaton. Speculation has been going around that there might be a house in the Citadel PC's can get in Broken Steel, but we'll just have to see.Angelonedge 05:17, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
