So its when i destroyed security uplink from masterbrain @ Vault-Tec HQ (he was fine until then) now i have one very dead Sergeant RL-3 following me around?? perhaps not dead, when i try to interact w/ him the cursor indicates "talk to..." not "search..." however he longer speaks or hovers. and perhaps "following" is a bad word, his body fast travels and enters building w/ me but after loading he slumps over dead not to move again until another map loading. So i guess the question is, is there a way to revive my old war buddy? or @ least retrieve the stuff i made him carry?? please help... the prototype medic power armor only makes me miss him more........Synthecide 02:24, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
I guess you could always try shooting or grenading him...

You say he only follows for fast travel and building entering. I say go to the wastes walk away from him a lil' Mini Nuke straight up. Run! Then wait for the BOOM! and strole slowly over and loot. Or, use a DLC where he cant go e.g point lookout he will be fired and go back to CC. You should then return there and maybe he will have reset or something. SAVE BEFORE THIS!
