Halo 3 for sure. I was almost excited, played the game 5days before release because my parents own a blockbuster so i got it early. finished game 4days before release. and then noticed how extreemly overrated it was when release came out. the game isn't even that good for gos's sakes! halo 2 is WAY, WAY better. Guitar Hero: World Tour. Rock Band 2 is much better, as it has better and more realistic charting, characters that doesn't look like they're taken out of a Cartoon Network-show, and a drumset that has three toms so that you actually can do standard fucking rolls. Also, and this is just my opinion though, it has a far better setlist, and muchmuchmuch better DLC. There are like two or three songs in GH:WT that I like, while there are two or three songs in RB2 that I don't like. --KillerIsMe 19:13, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Why the hell is Bioshock on this list? The thing is a masterpiece!
Also, GTA IV is overrated. It went from wacky and violent in the earlier games to a "serious" and "moving" game. In short, the story was boring, game mechanics stiff and you had to drive your cousin around every 10 minutes. The fourth installation of the series was a gigantic flop, because it forgot what the sandbox players wants: Sheer, mindless fun. Saints Row 2 was much, much better.

- My big beef against Bioshock was the enemies. They were all too much alike. And even the big daddies were not much fun to fight - they weren't that hard to survive against, but you had to sit there pumping rounds into them for ten minutes before they'd go down. The disturbing atmosphere also made the game less fun to play. The storyline was great though, and you could shoot bees at people. I might also like it better with a better system - I had to make do with stuttering framerates and a mediocre resolution. I haven't tried it since upgrading my video card and ram. In general, I am tired of games that feature grizzled space marines. Halo, Gears, you name it. There is no creativity. In the NES age, games could feature French chefs riding velociraptors, while they fired at ants with a gun that shot chainsaws. Now, we are stuck in an era of gaming that cares more about graphics than good storyline, decent gameplay and actual, working game mechanics. The last game I played that wasn't either an uninspired FPS shooter (Like COD 4) or a "freeform" sandbox game (like Assassins Creed) was Saints Row 2. Most fun I've had in years:
Judge : "Mr. Gat, I am curious if you can keep your cocky attitude with 2000 volts running through your body?"
Johnny Gat: "And I am curious if you keep acting like a douchebag when I shove that gavel up your ass."
(The protagonist breaks in to the courtroom, kicks in a door over a policeman, and fires three shots into the ceiling. Everyone ducks under their benches)

Well, FPS games really suck, everything is extremly linear, go through this door, follow this hallway, listen to radio bitch whining, 3 monsters comes out which I've killed 200 times before, trying to scare me in a ridiculous way, kill them, go to next room, go left, go right, go straight, go left, kill, go straight, kill, end of that campaign/map. Halo 3. Everyone was saying "ZOMG HALO 3 IS TEH BEST!!!1" I got it free with my console, and are glad to say it was shit. Also, the multiplayer? How is that the best in the world? I hated the game with every fibre of my being, but I'm not going to sell it, oh no, I don't want some other poor sap to have to experience this pathetic excuse for a game. FPS games are good, but they are very overrated. I was expecting a big explosive ending in Halo 3, but I didn't get it. The multiplayer is fun, but the campaign sucks harder than a thousand leeches. All future FPS games should just entirley be about have massive guns that fire nuclear missiles that blow up entire planets while you fight off armies of robot dinosaurs and 500-foot daedra. SSBB is also very overrated. Nintento fans were calling it "Greatest Game Ever" as soon as it came out. My ass. The game is almost exactly the same as Melee, the only difference being some extra features and characters. Got to say WoW, yes it is addicting buuut after two weeks of farming you release "There is no way in hell that is this fun and I am going to have the best character ever." Then you give it up.
Why in hell is CoD 5 on the list. It's a good FPS (although not as good as 4) and what makes it really awesome is the Nazi Zombies, which I like more than almost anything else (except bacon and fallout 3 of course). Really, those zombies are f*cking addicting.
Ok .... here goes .. prepare to be astounded .. but my favourite game is Final Fantasy X , im sorry fellow fallout 3 fans , im sorry , but its the truth ... anyways most overrated game is Halo 3 , SUPER SOLDIER KILLING ALIENS , Holy shit best story EVAAAR , yeah gameplay sucked , story was shit , setting was shit , main charecter is a moronic gremlin , so basicly a massive stinking turd sitting in the middle of almost every game shop there is .. :(
