wear a khan's outfit and pretend to be selling them drugs:) they don;t kill on sight though, only the PC, if they killed on sight then cpl. betsy wouldn't be talking to the doc, she'd be pushing up daisies. I do, however, doubt the fiends are recruiting these days, but I am sure of someone came across a batch of fiends who were incapacitated by drugs and unable to kill them, that person could join the fiends.75.67.224.12 02:41, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
You cant join the fiends, period. What the above poster is referring to only works INSIDE vault 3. There is a side quest for the Khans where you will go and they will give you a Khan uniform to wear, after that you can come and go inside vault 3 and they wont be hostel. There is also another Vault. I think 19 but don't quote me. It's filled with Fiends that want you to blow up a Fire Gecko infested cavern. They won't be hostile. But instead of a bunch of hopped up burn outs those Fiends are kind of more viscous seeming. Mostly because they murdered all the Vault dwellers.Cpanda 20:00, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Just for clarity's sake...
Vault 3 = occupied by Fiends, who murdered the Vault's inhabitants. Vault 19 = occupied by Convicts. This vault was already long-abandoned by the time the convicts arrived.--174.0.106.101 22:38, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
