*Abandoned BoS Bunker would be my favorite since it's spacious, has the reloading and workbench, has the chemistry set, and of course the vending machine and the Sierra Madre Chips that replenish. Plenty of storage and no hostiles nearby.

*My second choice, and the one I'm currently living in, would be the Gun Runners HQ building. It's got reloading and workbenches, PLENTY of shelf space to store your weapons, 8 lockers and tons of other storage. VERY spacious, too. Only downside is it's a bit dark, with some creepy background music (just turn on your radio and Pip-Boy light). It's got a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, foyer and the weapons workshop in the back.

CAUTION: There is a Gun Runner's Guard who respawns in the building every 3 days. He is friendly until he spots you, then he turns hostile. Kill him and drag his body into one of the bathroom stalls so he can't see you. He just stands in place, so if you don't go into the bathroom, he won't notice you.

*Finally, Harper's Shack. While it's not big, and it's very dark inside, it's quaint. It has plenty of storage for the size of the building, has a bed, scenery around the house is nice, safe distance away from Deathclaws so you can snipe em for fun, there's all the workbenches/campfire outside. It's really good for wasteland/prospector roleplaying.

Revision as of 20:31, 23 April 2011

Thanks to a bunch of deathclaws looking for revenge agaist me, i have been cast aside of my normal home because me and large teeth don't get along. I need a new permanent place to live. I don't really worry about companions, i can just sent them to there real homes and fast travel. But i need an area with preferably a workbench (reloading bench would be liked) at least 4 storage containers, a fridge (not nessecary but liked) shelves, a bed (duh), I would only like to have to do the loading screen once (not including fast travel) first aid box, weapons, desks, computers, no other people, a radio i would like but are optional. I have narrowed down my choices to

1- Abandoned BOS bunker (i have dead money)
2- Harpers Shack
3- Scavengers platform
4- Brotherhood safehouse
5- NCR safehouse
6- Snipers Nest

can i get a few opinions on the new home, would really be appreciated. Zion115 15:38, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

I'd say NCR or BoS safehouses, although these are all good choices. You need to remember that in some safehouses, the people already there will steal anything you put down, so you won't be able to display anything. It all depends on your roleplay, what side are you on (I'm guessing NCR), what area do you spend most time in ect.JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 15:44, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

Followers Safehouse was nice, but I ended up moving to the BoS bunker, due to increased size making it more pleasant, overlooking the body. GiMpLiE 17:37, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

Well i keep 2 games, one that is a "normie" of sorts, and one that is a experimental game. My normie is Mr. House still alive, Idalized with NCR, Liked with legion and so on. I just play around with that one. And the safehouses as you said can be a pain do to those damned rangers/ pladins who think they are entilted to your things. Zion115 17:41, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

I have two places. One is the hotel room in Novac, the other is the Penthouse at the Lucky 38. I would say those a good locations.--Ryker6119:59, April 23, 2011 (UTC)~12:56pm 4/23/2011

My top choices are as follows:

  • Abandoned BoS Bunker would be my favorite since it's spacious, has the reloading and workbench, has the chemistry set, and of course the vending machine and the Sierra Madre Chips that replenish. Plenty of storage and no hostiles nearby.
  • My second choice, and the one I'm currently living in, would be the Gun Runners HQ building.
  • Finally, Harper's Shack.
  • NCR/BoS/Follower's safehouse. I equally like all of them. They're roughly the same size, have about the same amount of storage. Only difference is Follower's doesn't have any workbenches, and NCR doesnt have a workbench. 67.174.95.30 20:30, April 23, 2011 (UTC)
