I have lived in and decorated every house supplied to me by the Fallout 3 player housing article. I have enjoyed them, and then moved on. My question is, does anyone have somewhere else I could live? I play on the 360, so can't get any house mods, but would really like somewhere new to live. It has to have a bed, and at least 4 safe containers. Can someone help me? --With care and happiness, Supermutantslayer450' ROAR 01:59, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know if the containers are safe, but after completing Reilly's Rangers there should be no Super Mutants left in the Statesman Hotel. There are beds and stuff inside. Telos 11:20, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

As far as I'm concered, Blackhall manor in PL, is the best house to live in/store equipment in.

Blackhall Manor is on the list of Fallout 3 player housing, and Supermutantslayer said (s?)he's already lived in all of those. Telos 08:12, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

I would live in Blackhall again, but it was so hard and time consuming to move all of my crap from the Capital Wasteland to Point Lookout, because I had to move everything to the riverboat, then, after that, I have to move to the manor, so it's basically moving twice. --With care and happiness, Supermutantslayer450' ROAR 21:32, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

And don't forget you have to move the couple hundred burned books off of all the shelves and all the other crap that needs to be cleared out of there. I moved all the crap I didn't want out of the house and dumped it all in the swamp nearby. It ended up being a pile that was waist high. Hitman 1 (radio) 22:15, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

On my first playthrough, I set up camp in Minefield, as I didn't know how to get the Megaton/Tenpenny House. In Poin Lookout I live currently in the hotel, and I can't believe nobody has mentioned that. There are 3 rooms to choose from, and an office. Kinda like an apartment block, so I would prefer that than have to shift all the stuff outta Blackhall Manor, but I'll have to check out Blackhall next time I log on.

I might set up a third home in the hotel, right now i live in tenpenny and the mine with that lil' dude.

What about the Citadel? There's heaps of storage space in there, and unowned beds in the Lab and barracks (B-Ring). Telos 08:45, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Foreget the citadel, clear out the mobile base crawler and live in there. Just don't finish the quest and blow it up. TONS of storage and beds, and im pretty sure the containers don't respawn. I tested the containers out front on the runway and those still had my stuff in them after i left for a week and came back. Hitman 1 (radio) 15:53, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

I used the Grower's shack just behind Blackhall Manor. It has a bed, trunk, suitcase, box, fridge and oven. The cabinets are kinda wacky b/c the doors open and you can place items inside like shelves not a pop up inventory like the other game storage. But the small size makes it convenient and to the best of my knowledge (20+ hrs in Lookout alone) the items haven't reset.

My primary place of residence is in Megaton. Currently I'm playing the dlc Point Lookout and am living out of the Homestead Motel--Ryker6107:35, April 29, 2011 (UTC)~12:34am 4/29/2011
