Hi everyone, This may seem like a stupid question but,

Ive been looking for info regarding the fallout series and It has been very confusing.

Ive heard such good things about it and it seems to be right up my alley, I love Bioshock 1 and 2,

My main concern is if I start with fallout 3 will I be totaly lost? should I go back and play the first 2.

Any info you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.

Each Fallout story takes place at a different time and a different place in the United States, so none of the stories are direct continuations of eachother. For example, the player character would be dead by the time period of the 'next' fallout game, like between FO1 and FO2. I started by playing Fallout 3 first. Although I recommend playing all of them, but you don't have to play them in order to know what's going on.

Metalspork basically summed it up. You don't have to have played Fallout 1 and 2 to enjoy and understand Fallout 3. Fallout 3 takes place about a hundred years later, and thousands of kilometres away from the first two games. Telos 08:00, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
