1. The "see all" button under a user's achievement badge display box does not function.

2. User personal CSS is not being imported from /wikia.css, just /common.css

3. The characters "A1B" show in the otherwise empty profile section of anon users and users who have not created their profiles.

ImageEdit

1. Many achievement images display a black background, instead of the standard white background.

2. Uploading images to articles seems to be interrupted by a blank "Upload Photo" screen. The process does not advance from then. Tried in three web browsers, and the problem has been detected in all of them. (IE, Chrome, Opera)(intermittent)

Log/Special pagesEdit

1. Hide/show advanced recent changes and hide/show logs not showing on Special:RecentChanges. Elemets are now displayed as <r> (this is also present on the Wikia test wiki w:c:mediawiki119:Special:RecentChanges)

2. When blocking a user and selecting the "other" reason under options, the block log will display it as "uther" instead.

3. After unblocking a user, sometimes the IP still needs to be unblocked manually, which is not working anymore after the upgrade.
   • The wording of this option was changed from 1.16.5 to 1.19. The new wording is "Prevent logged in users from editing from this IP". Rappy 20:26, August 3, 2012 (UTC)
     • We are seeing unblocked users stay blocked. Checking all block logs show all blocks removed, yet the user has to wait up to a day sometimes to edit again. The Gunny   20:20, August 21, 2012 (UTC)
4. List of about 50 unlinked files (probably old videos) still showing in Special:WantedFiles.

5. Recent changes auto-refresh script rendering new namespace sort pull-down menu unusable. (IE, FF, Chrome))
   • Being as this is a user-made script, it's not really a bug as far as the upgrade is concerned. I will poke Grunny to take a look at AjaxRC for you on this though. Rappy 17:52, August 20, 2012 (UTC)
     • We'd appreciate it if Grunny can do that, as it's still occurring. Also, I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but the new auto-refresh script that Grunny has us importing causes severe lag for me when the page refreshes. Browser unresponsive kind of lag. Checked in FF and Chrome, with FF lag being by far the worst. The Gunny   20:20, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

MediaWiki pagesEdit

1. MediaWiki:Ipbreason-dropdown can not accept the header named Other (already added by the MediaWiki core software), as such it ignores the sub reasons and omits them from the drop down list when banning.
   • Was this possible before the upgrade? I can confirm that it doesn't allow options for an "Other" heading, but I believe that is a design flaw with MW software. The "Other" option is meant to show the edit box below for a custom block reason. Rappy 20:26, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

1. Pre-existing categories are shown as added when an edit is made. yes resolved
2. Display of chat users is clipping, last person on the display is down (unlike the others). yes resolved
3. The user who created the blog has the avatar, name and date in the middle of the blog name. yes resolved
4. Recent changes (instead of Wiki Activity) is dispaying again in top right corner of screen (so Gadgets are working again?)
5. Editing window in source mode shows two sets of buttons in the editing toolbar. (FF, Chrome, IE)yes resolved
6. Editing window in source mode with toolbar turned off, overlaps editing field into edit summary, preview and publish fields (EditPageRail). (FF, Chrome)yes resolved
7. Table of contents is collapsed, needs to be clicked on to unfold.yes resolved

Downgrade to Mediawiki 1.16Edit

I just received word from Wikia Staff that due to the problems we're having with Mediawiki 1.19, our wiki has reverted to Mediawiki 1.16 again! So the problems should be over. They'll give it another try when they fix the issues they've encountered yesterday. Jspoel 13:48, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Neither am I and it shouldn't be an issue. It was an issue a while back due to a chrome update and only affected chrome users, but it was fixed at the time. So I have added a verify tag to that issue. 21:27, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

Resolution of problemsEdit

OK, so it seems we still have some issues since the upgrade. I'm not savvy enough to determine if all these are mediawiki related issues or are issues causes by some of the local content (eg java scripts). I don't want this to just drop, so how do we progress with these issues? The Gunny   14:29, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
