This forum is for the listing of issues that have arisen from the installation of the MediaWiki v1.19 software update. Please list possible issues that can be traced to this upgrade below the line. Current issues

Article space issues

1. Quotes might clip into infoboxes.

• Is anyone seeing this? If so, on what pages and in what web browser?

1. Editing window in source mode shows two sets of buttons in the editing toolbar. (FF)
2. Editing window in source mode with toolbar turned off overlaps editing field into edit summary, preview and publish fields. (FF)

User page issues

1. The "see all" button under a user's achievement badge display box does not function.

Image issues

1. Many achievement images display a black background, instead of the standard white background.

Log/Special pages issues

1. Advanced recent changes not showing grouped edits as collapsed when auto-refresh script is turned on.

Resolved issues

1. Pre-existing categories are shown as added when an edit is made. resolved
2. Display of chat users is clipping, last person on the display is down (unlike the others). resolved
3. The user who created the blog has the avatar, name and date in the middle of the blog name. resolved

Hmm... the last chat user is still down. Must be my computer, needs to be cleaned-up.

Downgrade to Mediawiki 1.16

I just received word from Wikia Staff that due to the problems we're having with Mediawiki 1.19, our wiki has reverted to Mediawiki 1.16 again! So the problems should be over. They'll give it another try when they fix the issues they've encountered yesterday. Jspoel 13:48, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Does the category glitch seem to be slightly alleviated? Many edits are displaying normally on Special:WikiActivity again. --Skire (talk) 00:34, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
