Hi Folks,

I've had it suggested to me in the next news digest I should include mention of the "Internet Slowdown" campaign. The campaign is a US-centric campaign in support of the concept of Net Neutrality.

Given precedent on this (I think it was Ry who proposed joining the Internet Blackout), my position is any choice by the Wiki to do so would go through a forum for consensus first, as its a political issue.

Whilst I'm generally supportive of the concept of Net Neutrality, my concerns are this is a US centric campaign (and we have a rather global audience) and the element that wikia have produced... well its Gi-normous (which I guess is kinda the point, but it strikes me as being a bit too big to leave the page functional).

I was wondering if anyone else has anything to say on the proposal of taking a stand on this issue. Agent c (talk) 00:55, September 11, 2014 (UTC)
