Long-story short, think we should be putting in-game shots of weapons and armor on their respective pages, so people know what they look like on a person. DeviantRanger 17:58, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

Armour images are on armours equipped on either a character or a dummy, so they looks as they would in game and all gun images are taken from the GECK; i.e., from the game itself. I don't see the point of this. Hugs MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
Although I probably should point out that some of the FNV and FO3 armors still don't have pictures of their female model/design on their pages. User:Great_MaraMessage 18:26, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Yeah, actually I've noticed that too. Even notable/unique armour like Legate's Armour has male only images... perhaps this is a chance at starting a new project, or even something that we can hand over to Chad for his New User Project (unless someone wants to go through and rip female armour images by themselves). When this site was first starting up we used in-game pictures and most of them came out poor. The GECK shows the same image but better quality. It was a big project to change them to what they are now. Porter did most of the conversions if I remember.--Kingclyde (talk) 02:51, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Interesting idea. Problem with New-User-Projecting it is the required use of the GECK, which I still haven't gotten around to learning. I'll keep it in mind though and try and sort something - if the weathers bad this week I might have a lot of time on my hands. Agent c (talk) 18:30, July 7, 2012 (UTC)

( By now, I and Avatar have updated around 90% of the armor and clothing images to GECK models, and they include female images. If an armor looks the same on a female (like with Legate's armor) then I've skipped that and made a front and back image. We've had in-game armor and clothing shots in the past, but they've replaced because of poor visibility/quality. So armor images are fine. I have an interesting idea on the weapon images though. I've done some experimenting on making in-game screenshots of firing weapons and got some nice results. We almost don't have those kind of images yet, and I'm motivated to work on that.
