at the start dry county - bon jovi and the end i would have blaze of glory - jon bon jovi moloeratmurker

For a good character - Start: Town Called Malice - The Jam (don't know why, it just fits), End: Why Walk When You Can Run - Paul Weller For an evil character - Start: Dust N' Bones - Guns N' Roses, Behind Blue Eyes - The Who --Bullet Sponge

I've always felt Fallout's non-intstrumental tracks needed to be something classic from the 50's era, so my Big Guns, Explosives, Pyromaniac character would definitely start withI Don't Want To Set The World on Fire by the Ink Spots as the game does, and end with The Beautiful South's version of Dream A Little Dream. "Sweet dreams 'til sun beams find you, assholes." *Immolates the sleeping raiders at Five Axels Rest-Stop.* --DGoose 22:35, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

My opening when my character is walking and loading up his gun would be:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dY-LaFHAfQc&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dY-LaFHAfQc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

and my ending song like after i put a bullet though every enclave soldier's head and just walk away into the wasteland would be:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Il_tdjddNlU&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Il_tdjddNlU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Can we get somebody whose Wiki-Fu is strong to clean up this godawful mess? I mean, I know it's just a forum thread, but still. I'd do it myself, but my Wiki-Fu is pitiful. My power level is not even close to 9000, much less over it.--DGoose 08:02, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Septic101 23:48, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

I can't think of a good opening theme, but the end theme would have to be the chorus of 'Chorus of Angels' by Haste the Day.

For a good character, that is. ~Unholy

Opening music would have to start as soon as I walk out of the Vault door to the wasteland. and it would be The New age outlaws music (WWE) OH YOU DIDN"T KNOW!!! and my Ending music would have to be from the closing music from Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. because all would be right with the world. and yes there is something wrong with me.. I don't know it just makes me smile inside (Dorianrpg)

Deathclawpoop, nice use of Metallica =D I LOVE the idea of Welcome to the Jungle for the opening. For the ending, I'd like there to be a massive explosion of some-sort. Lone Wanderer walking away, you can see patches of fire on the ground from whatever the hell just exploded. Then, the line "I don't want to set the world on fire" from the Ink Spots (Yes, it's the actual song) then an immediate cut from that line to the first heavy part of In The Name of God by Dream Theater. We Are The Archers 09:10, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

opening song: call of ktulu ending song: until it sleeps

Opening Song (when you leave the vault) AC/DC-Hell's Bells. Closing Song (when you activate the purifier) Dream Theatre-Pull Me Under--Con230 11:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Opening: Highway to Hell. Ending: Stairway to Heaven. --MadDawg2552 20:16, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Intro: Blaze of Glory by Bon Jovi, Intermission: Higher by Creed, Outro: The End is the Beginning is the End by Smashing Pumpkins. Throughout there'd be all sorts of rock genres which would somehow tie it all together. Ronin

I can't think of an intro, but the ending: Never turn back by Crush 40 - RASIC 01:48, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

For the intro it would be Song Of The Century from Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown, the ending song would be the 1st minute or so of American Eulogy from the same album. if you've heard them you will know exactly what I'm talking about. Gauss100

(Good Character) The times they are a-changin' for the intro, then massive fight with the enclave would be the devil went down to Georgia.Ending song would be crazy runthrough of the whole story, septia tone flashbacks etc. with New Divide. HuangLee 00:40, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

(bad Character) Intro:Cliffs of Dover Outro:Cult of Personality. HuangLee 02:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

id say, Now you've got something to die for by Lamb Of God at the start and ending song would be In The End by Linkin Park RejectFalseIcons666 09:32, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

COllapse, for my opening theme,Saviour, for my ending theme, yes,i am a rise against fan. Captain TattyBoJangles Care to talk? 16:00, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

"What a Wonderful World". Cliched I know, but cool nonetheless.

--SpiderJerusalem2 16:28, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Opening: In the Blood by Pivot. Really violent/horrific song. Video to match: WATCH IT! Ending: (Credits?) Theme for an Ultimate and Inevetable Victory by Servotron. Sounds end-credity to me. 90.201.91.102 20:07, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

This is better than my previous post Begginging "Plyophony/The New Black" Strapping Young Lad, Ending "Hold This Woe" by Swallow the SunAntily3f 02:44, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

I'd open with "Blow em off"-Monster Magnet, and close with "Hell no, I ain't happy"-Drive-by Truckers

For me I'd open with "Wandering Star" by Portishead then probably finish up with "Roads" also by Portishead. It's not that Porrtishead are my fave group it's just that teir songs seem suitably depressing for the Capital Wasteland!!

Gunner Bill 08:52, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

I like "The Times They Are A-Changin'" for an intro; it reminds me of the opening to the Watchmen film. My choice is "Welcome to the Machine" by Pink Floyd for the beginning, "L'arena" by Ennio Morricone for a good ending, and "Farewell Ride" by Beck for a bad ending. Butcher Pete 21:04, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

I would open with Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin(Halo 2 OST 1). At the end I'd close with New Divide by Linkin Park(Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen OST). Those are two of my favorites. As the ending theme begins the Lone Wanderer would think "Someone once said War never changes. But humanity changes. The horrors of the nuclear holocaust will never be forgotten. Using the past as an example, humanity can work towards a better future. Maybe we'll get it right this time."--Ryker6119:30, April 20, 2011 (UTC)~12:27pm 4/20/2011

Nitty wins. That is all. XP

Back on topic, might as well throw in my 2 cents...

Intro: The Zac Brown Band: Colder Weather. It doesn't sound like it'd fit at first, but after you hear the lyrics, it turns out to be rather appropriate, given what happens right at the start of the game, and some time later, as well.

There's a song by Johnny Cash that I wanted to use in its place, but I just can't remember it for the life of me. It's not "Solitary Man," but it sounds similar.

Ending: Hans Zimmer: The Pacific - Honor. As the shining beacon of hope in the wasteland, it's even more fitting when you think about it: it may have taken two centuries and a nuclear war, but with the last vestiges of the Enclave swept away, humanity was finally able to throw off the shackles of the past. To make the music even more poignant, here's a good mental image for you:

It starts off with the Lone Wanderer and Sarah Lyons talking with each other in the Citadel. After some time goes by, LW looks at his/her Pip-Boy and says, "It's time," to which Sarah also replies, "it's time."

The two exit to the Citadel courtyard, where repairs are being made to Liberty Prime - and it looks like he's halfway finished. They continue on past Fawkes, nodding to him as they pass by. "It's time to go, Fawkes," LW says to the Super Mutant. "Indeed, it is, my friend," he replies, and the two now become three.

They fly out on a Vertibird, heading to various towns proclaiming the Enclave's defeat. They settle down in Megaton, and have some food at the LW's house.

After they finish, they head to Rivet City, with Project Purity working in full swing as Aqua Pura is dispensed to the masses. Between the Jefferson Memorial and Rivet City, we can see a memorial statue of James being constructed, with the LW paying his/her respects. "It worked, dad," he/she says, "it finally worked."

Afterwards, the trio takes off for Paradise Falls - with the slavers dead, the town has been turned into a new refuge for escaped slaves, and in addition, serves as an outpost for the BoS to keep an eye on the Super Mutants from Vault 87.

Finally, it ends with the Lone Wanderer, along with Fawkes, Owyn and Sarah Lyons, Lucas Simms, and Dogmeat standing on a hill somewhere, and watching the sun rise over the land.

For them, a new era is dawning...and definitely enters the realm of earning your happy ending. Titan AEX4 16:12, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

intro fade away by breaking benjamin. ending new divide by linkin park.--75.241.43.170 20:28, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

My ending song would be The Pixies - Wheres My Mind? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfcW_cPDCHo) Levi Lauson 13:19, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

My intro would be "run for the hills" My ending would be "fade to black" by Metallica

Opening song: The Beautiful People, by Marilyn Manson Ending song: Hey Man, Nice Shot OR Trip Like I do, both by Filter. (Hey Man Nice Shot would probably be my final choice) Pappy002 04:49, April 28, 2011 (UTC)

Opening song: Probably Somewhere Beyond the Sea for all my playthroughs (I long ago chose this was my Vault Villains theme)
Ending Song: For my legion guy it would be a cross between Linkin Park's Shadow of the Day and Corner by Allie Moss. (The style and feel of Shadow of the Day's lyrics but to a tune similar to Corner). JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 21:22, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

I'd like my beginning to be Loser - Beck and it'd be sprinkled through my travels. I'd like Satellite - Rise Against as my battle anthem and ending song. It'd make an epic movie. Omega-Ginger

sidewinder by avenged sevenfold or strength of the world. a man comes around by johhny cash or gods gonna cut you down. others would be yours begins tonight by icp. and some niel young for some quests. mine would have to be a tv series to fit it all in. yeah its epic.JimmyDreznaut017 21:31, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

I'd open with "Goodbye Blue Sky" by Pink Floyd, and end it with "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by R.E.M. --FalloutJunky 15:59, July 31, 2011 (UTC)
