Hello again,

I'm soliciting feedback for a regular feature / contest that I think would work well in help keeping visits up during the period between games.  It could fill the space where the polls used to fit.

Admittedly it's not a new idea - a similar contest is played out on the Theme Park Insider site, but its basically an abbreviated form of TV shows like the Apprentice, Pop Idol, Etc.

The Pitch

Each week the "contestants" are given a task they need to create a pitch for.  It could be a character, perk, location etc for a theoretical fallout game (perhaps some "retro" rounds could require a pitch for an existing or cancelled game).  Maybe a couple of Paragraphs or so.

The pitches are then published for the community to vote on - the pitch with the fewest votes is eliminated.  The final round requires the remaining two contestants to pitch an entire game.

Does anyone else feel this may be a good idea; or better to pass on this? Agent c 05:06, December 10, 2011 (UTC)

Questions and Comments

Considering Kastera is still here (I think), he'd still be running the weekly polls. Or, alternatively, you could ask someone else to do it, or do them yourself (if you're up to it). Those are easily accessible and many people enjoy them. I think a games pitch could get very complicated, and could take a lot of time. Otherwise, if you get people who are willing to do it (effectively), it could prove to be an interesting concept. - Anon
