I'm at about 3,000 hours overall, 700 hours in my main game

i have had around 15 profiles each averaging about 100 hours each, more or less and countless hours of having to load back on saves so roughly 1600 hours. ThatWhiteboy98 03:56, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

I've logged nearly 300 hours of gameplay since the game came out.Lord Vontavious 19:46, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Its easy to get over 300 when you've finished the game six or seven times, not to mention the hours i've done on DLC's...Lord Vontavious 13:46, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

I've done probably... Hell no idea. Current file is past 38, but I have played a lot of different users. On another note, what are the forum rules on necroing these threads? Cuz i'm just going along for the ride with Lord V JK1464 23:44, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

What does necroing mean?Lord Vontavious 16:03, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

how many hours of game play are u up to. I have only 200 but was wondering what other people had.

Yeah, I have somewhere around there. Just the basic version, no add ons. I've done everything and messed around for quite awhile. It's kinda sad to see how much of my life I've wasted on a single game. TheoQ99 05:04, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

My first time with no add ons I amassed around 100 hours, on my second with all add-ons I got to around 100 again, and my new one I started last night I have around 6 hours. I also played a few hours on a random new game that sucked. Liam Spencer 11:13, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

On my first playthrough of the main storyline I had just over 100 hours. On my second playthrough I attempted as many side quests as possible and had around 250. My current game has 300 plus due to extensive wastland scouring and DLC's. Portfan 15:26, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Easily over 300 now. Asylum Keeper 06:25, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

I was actually the opposite, Portfan. The first playthrough I was mainly focused on trophies as a good guy, now I'm playing as a super-evil guy (my character has a blond chignon and everything - basically the female version of an evil twin goatee). The first playthrough with my good character is still going on at 117 hours, but I have Broken Steel installed. I think I "beat" the game around 90 hours. The current game is only at 8 hours and counting. ~Iridia talk | contrib 12:47, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
The save game says 75 hours but I don't believe it! It doesn't count the replays or times I went back because the game crashed on my last save (lost a whole night play a couple times). I have only 7 quests so far but worked through 25 areas. I better look up how many areas there are! Alatari 02:44, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
All my playthroughs totalled up together clocks in around 750 hours. No kidding.Kleiner352 23:13, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

I've also lost like 15 hours due to death or freezing.Liam Spencer 00:23, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

I've made 2 different characters and I have around 200 hours on one and on my newest I'm close to 250. Cribs: Fallout Edition 03:41, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

40 for me ( I've done The Pitt, Mothership Zeta, Operation Anchorage and on the Who Dares Wins in Broken Steel ) I complete games way too quickly :) MagnumUser 15:29, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

100 hours....I can't stand those 10 second loading screens and the freezings. Might as well just pop FO2 in the comp...GiantAlbinoGhoul 01:32, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

At least 150 hours I've completed every quest (main & side), gotten bored with unmarked quest

Found every location ((PLUS vault 87)and on all dlcs), have every dlc, enslaved 31 people, ate 57 people, died 119 times, killed myself for fun 38 times and killed 13913 people. Deathclawpoop 22:55, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Approaching 900 on three characters. I cannot put the controller down. I keep setting "goals" for myself. With a total of over 1.3 millions bottle caps and 8 to 9,000 unredeemed fingers, I just keep firing away. Ferbil 20:32, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

I'd hate to say, because I play [Fallout 3 & New Vegas] on both PC & PS3..... Fallout Jules 13:15, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Just wanted to add that the game determines play time by looking at the real world clock instead of using it's own clock. If you pause the game, or even use a process manager like DTaskManager to suspend Fallout 3 completely then restart 12 hours later after breakfast, the game looks at the real world clock and adds 12 hours to your game time. I was wondering how I had racked up 700 hours on the last character when I was pausing to the save screen while I ate or watched a vid on my second monitor. Alatari (talk) 11:54, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
