Actually, there's no contradiction. The Bible was written at the time Fallout 2 and Tactics were the latest two Fallout games, but the lore has since evolved. Horses are probably no longer extinct, and may have simply migrated into the core region. Consider this: if horses are actually extinct, how would Chance know how horses look like? He doesn't strike me as a literature-lover. [[Special:Contributions/134.76.61.233|134.76.61.233]] 06:39, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

What happened to horses in the Fallout Universe? Are they mentioned at all? Are they considered extinct or have they never been addressed in any game?

As I recall in the Fallout: New Vegas book All Roads there is an image of NCR troopers on horseback, however they are never mentioned in-game that I know of. Crazy sam10

Although one could question the canon status of the Fallout Bible, given the age of the documents and the scarcity of in-game confirmation. Oh, on his page he's credited as a writer for All Roads. I imagine he must've known.

Age has nothing to do with canon, if it did then Fallout would be the least canon game of the series. Also, considering the other errors in the comic and the fact you never see or hear of NCR soldiers on horses, it's not hard to belief the comic was wrong here. 134.76.61.233 06:39, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
