okay so what i'm talking about is if you hoard items and store them anywhere in particular(not just your house) for example, a few days ago i strolled from tenpenny tower to the gas station(willy's grocer) and thought i'm gunna turn this into my shop. I cleared out some of the crap that was in there and started collecting my stock. Now i'm still working on the store but i have a freezer crammed full of well cram, snack cakes, apples and crap of that sort. I have weapons on the shelves and other goodies all around as well as my 'surplus' corner which has the food that won't cram into the freezer. I'm still waiting on the radroaches to respawn and find a way to cage them. Anyway thats enough rambling, post what you do with your stuff and where it goes ps no duuhh its in my house answers unless you dont have a conventional megaton/tenpenny house. Yeahhh, I know what you're talking about. I do something like that too, they help as random bases of operations when you need them
I'm sure all you guys have run into the broadcast towers that transmit radio signals to your pip-boys and then eventually lead you to an items cache that's almost always somewhere very near in the tower's vicinity. Well They're almost always unoccupied and they virtually hold no purpose, so it's like 'why not I use this to benefit me?' To save space in my inventory I usually throw any excess aid (like water, stimpaks, or buffout), ammo, and armor in any possibly storage bins. If there's a cot or a fridge that's all the better, Any random junk like batteries I'll straight up leave on the tables or floor..they seem to stay there.
then I leave. And don't come back til maybe 30 game days later and be like 'Oh, I have an items cache lovely' Legitimately, I've only used them like that 3 or 4 times, but it's entertaining to make them. And when they do serve their purpose it's rather a life saver.
The bad news is that parts my idea. And you can't do it. Or I will cut you.
Happy Gaming.

Most of the crap I intend to sell I leave in a mail drop box in Canterbury Commons, then if I'm there and there's a caravan, I grab it all, slog over, and offload as much as they can afford.Imp of the Perverse 07:34, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

On my female character (don't judge) I went to the arlington house and decided that I would set up shop there. I went there with fawkes. I had him live in my basement with my work bench and custom weapons, i set the kitchen table with brahmin steak, quantum, books, and other foods. Child's room? Armory. Bathroom? Useless. Bedroom? Now where I sleep and change into my sleepwear and stored my daily armor. Oh, and I set up a minefield outside my house.--Orionthefree 00:28, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
