I've seen this on the twitter feed today

“A Super Smash Bros. tourney may possibly be in the works in the future, in association with @Nukapedia. let us know if you're interested!”— @TheOfficial_SNM

Has anyone in the admin team sanctioned such a sponsorship? I am not aware of it being discussed, and I haven't been able to locate anyone who knows anything about it. Agent c (talk) 22:53, September 21, 2014 (UTC)

I did not know about this until just speaking with Chris, but I fail to see an issue since we are official affiliates, afterall, with the community throwing their support behind our affiliation. ^{Some Assembly Required!} 23:09, September 21, 2014 (UTC)

There's being an affiliate, and then theres endorsing a particular event, which is a bit different. I would expect that we'd be at least informed (With opportunities to feed into and/or reject) before our name is put to an event. From what has been explained to me, this is just supposed to be a bit of casual fun across a few friends shared between Nukapedia and the Moose. But I know very little of the matter - I will just let Chris or any others involved explain the details involved.
