If it exists, can anyone direct me to a Fallout Political Map of the United states that shows the territory controlled by the various factions, such as NCR, Enclave, Brotherhood, Talon Company, Super Mutants and the like. Anytime post war to 2281 would be awesome. Not looking for Pre War maps. Thank you!

No such map exists. Nitty Tok. 16:05, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

It would be hard to create such a map as there is a lot of information that we don't know, and political power as it exists in formal borders in our world, doesnt happen in Fallouts'. There are no formal borders, no treaties to draw the lines and few attempts at nation states to abide by them.

We can draw rough semi-formalish borders around NCR for their power as at the closing credits of Fallout 2, and can take a guess as to the Midwestern BOS' territory. The enclave controlled no territory beyond what you can see with an unaided from Navarro (and even then thats debateable), the SuperMutants were split into two factions: Broken Hills (a town near Reno that we know eventually becomes a ghost town when the mine runs dry), and the Former Reminants of the Masters Army, who appear to be no more than raiders.

For the most part, most of the organisations control territory too small or too disjointed to appear on a map of the CONUS. Agent c 16:12, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the help anyways :3 ~Hemms2

According to Arcade Gannon, the NCR took out Navarro. New Reno is said to be run by the Wrights, Van Graffs, and the Bishops so it's likely outside of NCR control. Chief Hanlon mentions the NCR being in Baja. So as of F:NV the NCR likely controls everything from the Baja California peninsula to Redding at minimum. What's unclear is if the NCR took over San Francisco, Arroyo, and Vault City. I happen to think they took over San Fran, between the presence of ethnic Chinese in the NCR military in F:NV and that the Hubologists were present in NCR and San Fran in FO2. Caesar's Legion is said to control at least parts of, if not all of Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. At the end of Fallout Tactics the MWBoS controlled a territory stretching across Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado but a brief line in FO3 says that the MWBoS was in decline when Lyon's group passed by so who knows how much they held on to. If you want to consider Van Buren, then sometime between Fallout Tactics and FO3 Cheyenne Mountain was completely destroyed which would probably have wrecked the MWBoS pretty badly.--OvaltinePatrol 08:47, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

It's strongly implied that NCR owns every location from the first two fallout games. In Fallout 2 one NPC states outright that the NCR has acquired all of the territory from Shady Sands to the Los Angeles Boneyard(The northern and southernmost territories from the first game). Speaking to several NCR soldiers verifies that the NCR has taken control of several or all of the towns from game 2 (Vault City, Klamath, Redding). Since most of these towns have real geographical locations in the United States (Redding, Klamath, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Reno, and Gecko could well refer to Elko), this would mean that the current borders of the NCR encompass most or all of California and parts of Nevada. (New Reno is part of their territory, which lies just inside the Nevada border, and Vault City is a good bit northeast of that). The Wrights likely run New Reno the way the Mafia or gangs "run" things, that is they have wide range to do what they want due to NCR political corruption, but ultimately NCR is the ruling political body and maintains a police force, collects taxes, etc.

-Enclave run little to nothing unless new lore is provided that says otherwise. Statements allude to a few bases that may exist scattered about the US, but their main western base was destroyed in Fallout 2 and their main eastern base was likely destroyed in fallout 3.

-BoS runs little to nothing as well, there may be a midwestern BoS in the future however the events of Fallout tactics have not been accepted as canon. Much like the Enclave they have some underground bases, but no territory of their own.( I believe Veronica says it best that they're just a few people sitting in holes waiting for everyone to die).

-Talon Company also runs little to nothing. They're a mercenary outfit. I believe you destroy their main base (or can destroy) in Fallout 3.

-Supermutants, same thing, more raiders than anything else. The FO3 mutants seem to be forging some territory, but the main character destroys their main base in fallout 3.

-Caesar's Legion, other than the NCR they're the only real powerhouse in the game. According to Caesar they've conquered all of Arizona and New Mexico and most of Utah and Colorado (the States that makeup the four corners) and many statements by legionares and slaves confirm this statement. Sorry for the late post, but I think this covers all of the factions you referenced. —Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Actually, Bethesda have stated that the high level events in Fallout Tactics are canon. Agent c (talk) 23:29, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

I have been working on one. It's as complete as I think it can be. Until more information is done in this field by Bethesda.--Ant2242 (talk) 01:06, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
@AgentC No they haven't. The only thing that is canon is that Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel exists. However according to Fallout New Vegas, it is only limited to around to Chicago. SidBuddha (talk) 23:15, January 25, 2016 (UTC)

Hey look everybody, I created my own map. Here's the link: http://www.scribblemaps.com/maps/view/g0Yzh4RrI1

I think it's more accurate than other maps. SidBuddha (talk) 23:15, January 25, 2016 (UTC)
