Fallout 4 Ideas by SallytheCricket

Story: I like the idea of waking up in a vault but the time, I think, should be before Fallout 3's time. You, the main character, is one of the first people to climb out of a vault and see what's left of the world before the bombs hit. Along the way you help your fellow vault dwellers explore and build. Create the currency with bottle caps, the founder of new radio stations, and such. Also you'll go to other vaults and bring them out of hiding in order to help create a new world. But some of the vault dwellers have dark hearts and decide that they want to have a world dominated by one in order to gain power and search for unused nuclear bombs to destroy anyone that doesn't obey their ruling. Or... something like that.

Other Stuff: Some things that I think would be awesome is to be able to fall in love with a character, marry, and have at least one child that can grow up into a teenager, at least, in a certain amount of set days, of course. Also I think some better character features would be nice. Like better hair styles and more attractive looking facial features. Like short hair, long hair styles, and not so flat and rough-looking faces. Along with some body modifications, such as big head or little head, big breasts or small breasts, short or tall, fat, thin, or muscular, small feet or big feet... things like that. Including the ability to see the difference of eye color. <3 ________________________________________________________________________________________

FALLOUT 4 IDEAS by TheTrakas

STORY 1.FALLOUT NUCLEAR WINTER- this game should start in a pre-war secret military training facility. Here the action starts out quick with military simulations with a squad of six. They train you in stealth, lockpicking, computer hacking, sniping, and close combat. After the training you enter a room called the barracks where there is a nuclear explosion and you have to enter cryogenic freezing pods. You are woken to see people over you in radiation suites. They inject you with a green liquid and throw you on a vertabird. you pass out and you wake up to red lights and sirens. You are being broken out by the brother hood of steal. From there is a story of a war between two main factions one being more advanced and having connections in the commonwealth/institute(bad) and one being more of a mixture of factions coming together to bring down the larger oppressive faction set in a retro 1950's post-apocolyptic winter.

2.FALLOUT 4- Should start out in a vault that gets raided by slavers. you break free from slavery, but you are still being hunted. The topography should be similar to that in fallout 3. Should also be a struggle between one large faction and a small underground faction or factions.

FACTIONS- Factions should play a huge role in the game and they should interact with each other without having you to necessarily do it for them. Your reputation should be communicated with nearby or relating faction. If you steal something from a town the town next door will be a little hesitant to give you quests but are still going to accept you, if you kill every one in a whole town then they will be very weary to let you do any thing. I think there should be a couple different merc factions all competing. You should be able to have merc followers. Two of the factions should have available temporary followers(they can die). One should always be totally hostile because they have a bounty on your head.

FOLLOWERS- There should be many followers, one in almost every location, but most you have to get under very exact circumstances, like a follower Matt Warrick, "son of Sam Warrick in fallout 3" is a follower that can only be obtained in a random occurrence. Another follower Pete "from Nellis" can only be obtained by helping the New Authority faction take over the Old Law faction and donate money or services so they can build a prison that you can brake peat out of the new axiom prison. There should also be followers that you can "rent". What this means is that you can purchase them from a faction like mercs or androids. You can have them and another follower(human) and another follower(robot/animal). I also think there should be at least one follower in each dlc that can be taken out of the into the rest of the game, but can be the only follower that can come back with you into the dlc map. ______________________________________________________________________________________________

FALLOUT 4 FACTIONS by TheTrakas

OLD LAW/NEW AUTHORITY-GOOD

in the beginning of the game the only form of law in the south west corner of the game(where you start off) is the faction known as Old Law. They are more of a western style police force. They do not enforce the law completely letting you get off with small crimes by giving you a community service quest. In the town of Axiom there is a group of people who think that Old Law should enforce the law better. You can do a quest for them where you help them take over the Old Law "jail 'n' police station". After that axiom will be known as Axiom headquarters, and with donations to the New Authority they will turn "jail 'n' police station" into new axiom prison, where you can get more quest.

DANVILLE MUTANTS-NEAUTRAL

They are a faction of mutants fascinated with 1950's noire. They are located in the very dark far north east corner of the map and are extremely hard to get to unless you do their quest. They were formed by an adventure called Danvackas Who was fascinated by the pre-war life style. Danvackas discovered the Museum of the Modern Day Man which was over run with super mutants. He saw that these mutants so starved of culture that he could easily manipulate them into creating the pre-war Noire city that he always wanted. The mutants walk around in pre-war suites and hats.

GUMSHOE ASSASSINS-EVIL

They are a faction located in the secret location of Gumshoe camp, hidden in side of what the rest of the world thinks is a volcano. They can give you quests to kill people for high sums of money, and one of the only places you can buy silencers and stealth boys. The people of gumshoe are very stealthy, and people living near the camp think that ghost live in the volcanoe.

WILLSIDE-GOOD

The first town you get to when you start the game. Sort of a renaissance town, where there past times are "art, music, and hard liquor". they have small boats that you can sit on and ride leisurely through Lake William.

ARMY OF DAVE-NEAUTRAL

A roaming faction of four people, Ralph the old(actually met Dave), molly the quick, mike the strong(both the children of bob), and Rick the gross(a ghoul). They were sent west by Dave to find a new land after the republic was attacked by raiders.

GUILD OF KNOWLEDGE-EVIL

An insane group of insane scientist who claim to be in pursuit of the perfection of the population of the wastes, but are really interested in doing ungodly experiments on humans and animals.

MUMFRIES MARKET PLACE-NEUTRAL

A town built on a pre-war market place/strip mall. They are being hit hard by the main antagonists in the game, so they have a small army of guards on the alert at all times.

CITY'S GUNS AND FUN-GOOD

A guns store owned by an old man named City in the wasteland. Under it is a town for escaped androids, looks kind of like thorn.

CALICO-NEUTRAL

An island in the sea of Diplona. The city is full of pirates, sea captains, merchants, and prostitutes.

______________________________________________________________________________________________ FALLOUT 4 FOLLOWERS By TheTrakas

PETE- Pete is located in the New Axiom Prison. If you look at his charges in the New Axiom Prison terminal you will find that he was charged for "blowing shit up". you get him as a follower by breaking him out of prison. He starts out having 10mm pistol and some frag grenades but if you do his quest he will have the boomer grenade shotgun and high explosive frag grenades. BACK STORY- Pete is and ex-boomer who was exiled from Nellis for crashing the treasured virtabird.

MATT WARRICK- Matt is a random encounter. He is on his life long mission the avenge the death of his father Sam Warrick by killing the lone wanderer. He is equipped with Sam Warricks sniper rifle.

DINO- Dino is a senile super mutant who thinks hes in the U.S Military duel wields miniguns. You can find him guarding the town of Mumfries in the middle of the wasteland.

STAI- Stai is an assassin at Gumshoe Assassin Camp. He will join you if you ask him to assist you on a mission for the Gumshoe assassins. If he is with you when you do there missions you only get half the pay.

SR. WAYNE WYKO- Wayne is in the sub-lab of the Guild of Knowledge Laboratory where his brain has been implanted into the body of a young deathclaw.

MODEL B-111/BILL- An android with half its face missing. you can find him on one of the last main missions of the main quest. you can then find him later under City's guns and fun.

My idea for Fallout 4

By JesusShaves

Just a little background check of sorts, I have played and completed all of the original fallout games and have all the achievements for F3 and F:NV

Story

You are a newly created android (synthetic man) from the common wealth. The game starts with you fresh off of the "assembly line". A first person cut scene shows the PC waiting in line behind many other androids to get there facial features customized. During this cut scene you get a good look at the process of creating and android and how many androids are used as slave to create there brethren. Instead of being produced for general manual labor, the institute made you and several others to be highly efficient killers to protect the institute and carry out missions for the scientists within. You are with four other androids that were built for the same purpose as you and are instructed, through an ominous voice over a loud speaker to head directly to the "training" facility. Another short cut scene will take you here giving a good look at the institute itself and an even better understanding of how the synthetics are treated. All of the androids are forced to wear an orange jumpsuit and there only identity is the numbers on there backs. You are now in the "training" room and are ordered to step into a small machine that programs you, this is where you choose your tag skills and your traits. The first several hours of the game will have you carrying out the hunter killer tasks that the institute give you obediently. Your first mission sends you to take care of a troublesome raider group that is plaguing a small town outside of the institute. This where you get to make your first choices that really matter in the game as you can choose to completely obliterate the raiders or you can bring him into custody. a couple more missions similar to this and the main part of the story will begin to unfold. You start have thoughts of what it would be like to roam the outside world and do your own thing, and on the next mission you decide to do just that, you completely ignore the task that the institute gives you and instead travel to there nearest large city and spend some time exploring there before returning to the institute (while you are there you will have small opportunities to cause trouble or help the citizens). Your masters are very displeased with this and demand to know why you did what you did. You begin to tell them that you want to stop being their errand boy (the way you interact with them is up to you of course). This of course is a huge problem as you were programmed to show complete obedience without question. You are ordered to be shutdown and have your memory wiped for reprogramming. this is when you make your escape. You fight your way through dozens of low level security androids that are no match for your superior programming and manage to get out of the institute but are still being followed by the institutes tracker androids. Lucky for you there is a small camp set up outside the institute that watches for any androids that they can try to help, they are known as "The Railroad" (mentioned in F3). they help yo fight off your pursuers and take you in. The most they can do to help you is give you some caps to help you survive in the wastes (200) and a piece of very important information. They tell you that escaped androids are highly sought after commodities and that many people will be against him rather than with him. You are also informed that the Institute will put a large bounty on your head and not will never stop looking for you until you are returned to them or killed. That means that merc factions will be looking for you and you will be a very well known face in the wastes. Luckily your skills will stop the average folks from attacking you as it would be foolish to try and take on a highly trained android. Many communities will welcome you and some will not. The main quest line from hear on out will be you trying to stop the institute from using androids as slaves (good) or trying to take it over for your own nefarious deeds (evil). I forgot to mention that rather then having a Pipboy you would have an internal system that projects straight onto your optics, also you would be able to pick up radio frequencies through a system that was used for the Institute to communicate with you.story would take place roughly 10 to 15 years after fallout 3.

Weapons

In the beginning when you are still helping the institute you are given weapons before missions and have to give them back after mission completion.

During the early game you get the regular weapons like 10mm pistols, hunting rifle, assault rifle etc. (of course these could be some of the weapons from F3 and FNV or new ones all together, or a mix of both)

Later in the game you will be able to find highly advanced weapons made by the institute more often since androids that are sent to find you and higher level mercs would have them. They would also be more affordable so you can by them from special merchants.

Some examples of weapons made by the Institute are:

-Drone launcher: Takes a few seconds to lock on to a target then launches a swarm of nano bots that follow the target doing damage over time for a certain amount of time. This weapon would not have ammo as the drones are produced within the gun but it would have a rather large recharge time. Upgrdaes/mods could include an upgrade to the nan bots battery life making them attack longer, lock on at a further distance, and make it so the nano bots jump to near by enemies.

-Electro-Magnetic Pacifier (EMP): Made specifically to shutdown bots and androids for a short time but not effective against organics. Mods could include wider radius, longer stun, and chance of electrical damage. uses ammo similar to mininukes that is very rare and expensive.

Companions

You would be able to have up to three companions at any given time and you can only have one from each class.

-Drone class: There are many different types that you can buy and each only carries out one specific function. They can not carry any of of your gear and they have minimal health. They will not be focused by NPC's if you or another companion are in sight. About half the size of E-DE. No drone will produce items while waiting or sleeping. Drones have no karma restriction. 5000 caps each.

-combat drone: A weak laser for attacking and can be set to manufacture small amounts of ammo of your choice excluding energy weapon ammo and special weapon ammo. For example you could order it to produce 5.56mm ammo and every in game hour it would produce ten rounds and hold them for you until you ask for them.

-Medic drone: A stun laser that has a chance to stun enemies but does no damage. They produce stimpacks, rad x, or rad away at a rate of two per in game day. Much like the combat drone.

-Espionage drone: No attack. When crouched it emits a field that increases the entire parties stealth skill by 10. Also produces one stealth boy every in game day.

-Loyal class: Much like dogmeat, rex, or E-DE they will follow you without question and have no karma restriction.

-Dogmeat (of course): Has a simple melee attack and can carry up to 150 pounds of weight. Can be trained by a certain NPC to do more damage. He also can sniff out the enemies giving the entire party a +3 to perception. He is free you just have to find him.

-Model #R28429: A mister gutsy equipped with a plasma weapon and flamer, Can carry 250 pounds of gear and gives a morale boost to the party making members more ferocious (5% damage increase). 2000 Caps sold by a vendor in town.

-Young Blood: A young yao guai (still full size) that was tamed by an NPC. Very powerful melee attack and high health. Can carry up to 300 pounds. Strikes fear into the eyes of enemies making them flee more often (+20% chance). costs 1000 caps

-Sentient companions: These companions will be influenced by your actions. If you do enough things that they dont like they will leave and in some cases even try to kill you. With high enough speech you can convince them that what you are doing is right and they will start to agree with you more. They will all have Karma restrictions to get them in your party but you can influence them later.

-Samsone (Neutral/Male): A retired merc living in the town of faded seas. His primary weapon is an assault rifle and his secondary melee is a trench knife. He doesnt like to take sides because he feels that it limits cash flow. He is a great speaker and will give the party increased speech and barter (+10 each). He will join up with you for free but only if you agree to give him a 15% cut on all future "contracts" (any caps earned in missions).

-Sammi Groves (good/female): She left the brotherhood because she didn't agree with how they purchased androids from the Institute and she joined the railroad. you can find her enjoying a game of black jack at a local bar in port notica. She says she will join up with you if you can beat her in a game of black jack, but she will join up with you even if you lose because she wants the opportunity to stop the institute. With a high enough charm or if you are playing a male with the lady killer perk you can skip the game. She is also the only female character that you can have a relationship with as long as you are male. Her primary weapon is an anti material rifle and a power fist for melee. She can spot targets for you like Boone.

-Semper Fidelis (good/Male): An android slave that you can rescue from his owner or buy from him. His name means "Always Faithful" and used to mock the life that he was forced into. Once you free him he will ask to join you so he can get revenge for all the years of slavery he had to endure. He is a mechanical genius and less of a fighter, you can use him to create things using less of the required items. His primary is a shotgun, and melee is a ripper.

-The Shadow Hand (Evil/Male): A lieutenant in the ruthless merc group "the black hand" you only know him by the shadow hand. You can only acquire him as an ally if you agree to join the shadow hand who tried several times to capture you for the bounty on your head. He says that he wants to come with you to monitor you to see if you are worthy of joining them, but later admits that he knows trouble follows you and wants help spill the blood of your enemies. You can gain him through a series of initiation missions for the black hand. His primary weapon is a mini gun and his melee is super sledge.

Factions

There will be a reputation system in this game. All factions will view you based on your reputation with them and some will also view you based on Karma.

-The Institute: The antagonist group of the game they are always hostile after you escape and control a few towns and key travel points in the wastes. they have many checkpoints along highly traveled roads and are well equipped to take down androids making it a good idea to avoid them at lower levels.

-The Black Hand: A ruthless mercenary group that spends a long time trying to turn you in for the bounty. If you are evil then after many failures they will decide that it would be more beneficial to have you among there ranks. You will the be approached by The Shadow Hand (mentioned above). If you refuse to join them they will continue to hunt you down and you will have to kill Shadow Hand then and there.

-The Brotherhood of Steal: new to this area and a detachment of the capital wasteland group they still look to help people more then find tech of the past. They have no quarrel with the Institute or androids but they do purchase androids from time to time for easy recruitment. It is possible to join them if you have dont have evil karma and if you help them with a series of tasks.

-Rangers of the Wastes (RotW): Sick of the the taxes and laws that the institute instills on its citizens many of the towns in the eastern portion of the map decided to rebel. Small militias formed to fight the Institute security forces and push them back east. Eventually these small forces organized and joined together creating a small army that could hold there borders from Institute attacks. They then formed the RotW to help keep the peace in there new territories. They are the primary threat to the institute and the second largest faction in the game.

Additional Ideas

I think that it would also be cool if you were able to buy turrets that you could place to defend certain areas. For example, say you killed a bunch of raiders and you liked their base, you could then put some turrets down there to stop them from re spawning and to protect your area.

also have maniquens that you can use to display your armor and make it so you can hang weapons on the walls.

FALLOUT 4 Location'

  By Hollowpoint

Well, so far where exactly have we played in the Fallout franchise? Fallout 3 = D.C, East coast, Point look out = The south (basically), The Pitt = Pittsburgh....... some more East coast action, Anchorage = Far North. Then there is New Vegas that came out which is located in the West coast in Nevada. So one of the main question's that come up a lot it where should Fallout 4 be located? They've done the East, West, North, and South coast regions in main land America. The place I suggest for Fallout 4 to be located at is in the Hawaiian islands. The game it's self should be based on Hawaii; Pretty cool places to go to, Kona, Hilo, the volcano ect. Then later on in the year it was released the company can release DLC's that allow you to travel to the other islands (Maui, Molokai, Kauai) and make a DLC for the other islands if they want to. Fallout 4 : By Fujikid (ps3 xbox pc) played all fallouts and cleared them :) platinum on f3 and fnv

My idea of fallout 4 is going to have to be in new york and must have snowy weather and snow adapted mutated animals like a snowclaw, snowlurk, snowguoai things like that. The main story should start with a first person view of your character walking trough a destroyed street in new york in a blizzard.Starting credits will come up on the screen like breath being blown onto a cold window, also the character looks up to see a partially destroyed and frozen statue of liberty then the title fallout 4 appears on the screen. The story should involve you encountering a group of survivors who take you as a hostile and starts the tutorial of combat, afterwards you scavenge them and find afew chems ammo weapons and a note showing directions to a survors camp in time square. The camp is made with walls made of buses and taxis.Since you have no pipboy as you are not from a vault, instead you have a backpack of sorts and a journal.Your only way of navigation are signs and points of interest.Inside the survivor camp they have a group who scout the area when the weather is at at its best to find food or people or even other settlements. You join up in this group and after some training and easy missions you go out with 3 others on a big scout lasting 2 weeks .During your scout you encounter strange large mutated people "super mutants" wearing fur clothes and the usual car parts armor but these super mutants are gray and have a high resistance to cold. Another thing is your reaction yo the cold is shown, the screen starts to freeze at the corners and you can hear your character shiver and breath as if they were in freezing cold water. The only way to combat the cold is to find shelter, though you can wear thick clothing or power armor to give your self a higher resistance to the cold .While your squad watch these super mutants one of the squad members gets scared and is slowly giving away your position. You decide to stay out of the arguments going on between the scared person and the rest of the squad. You notice the super mutants look in there direction and try to warn them but just in time you see the super mutants being shot at by big bulky looking people "original brotherhood in t51b power armor with snow camo and miniguns". When the mutants are dead you come out of hiding and are told not to move by the Brother Hood and they ask you where you came from, you have a choice to tell them the camp or you are a wanderer and don't belong anywhere . the first option ends up with the brother hood taking the camp for use of an outpost and the survivors ban you for giving away their position. You have two options ask to join the brother hood or walk away. The brotherhood let you join them but first you must prove your worth. The second option ends up with them walking away and you return to the survivors camp and tell them of the dangers out in the frozen wastes. The camp decides to improve there defenses, find better weapons and train their group to make them snipers of some sort. The main quest ultimately end up with a battle between the liberty army "survivor camp" and the original brotherhood. If you choose to be with the brotherhood the missions will involve searching and scavenging vaults for equipment and fighting the super mutants....too original?no.If you choose to be with the survivors you continue to scavenge the island and eventually come across the Brotherhood main base. You return and tell the group and the leader decides for the group to infiltrate and steal what equipment you can. Your character doesn't think its a good idea but you are ignored and the plan goes ahead. When you reach the base you have two choices you can sneak away from the group and warn the brotherhood or do the job.The first option is your last chance to join the brotherhood.during the infiltration you are discovered the brotherhood immediately become hostile and must escape alive. You manage to take a laser rifle and bring it back to the camp. they thank you but worry about the strength of the brotherhood and that they are now hostile. your next plan is to get some power armor but to do that you must kill a brother hood member while he is alone preferably while he doesn't expect it , like in the bathroom. You are to scavenge before hand to get better equipment and a.........get away VEHICLE. yes a vehicle preferably a 4x4 jeep of some sort. Also your squad member gives you an elephant gun and 2 rounds for it so its hit or miss from 80 meter's away. The armor will be customized much like the tribal armor in fallout 3.when the war is over the skies clear and you see the sun shine on the statue of liberty and the main story begins. There should be post-quests like helping to rebuild the city and build a radio station on top of the statue of liberty telling people that there are survivors and safety. This could start an add on where the brotherhood in d.c. hear this and send the lyons pride there using the ferry and vertibirds right outside the citadel (used to get to point-lookout)they thank you for ridding the orginal bh from the area as they were looking for the corrupt d.c. bh.new items helpful during the storm and after, like thermal sight and night vision upgraded power helmets. The corrupt brotherhood teach you how to use power armor and you get to meet the lone wanderers son born as a result of sarah lyons and the vault dweller getting together after the war against the enclave. But this character tells you things about the capital wasteland and says that his father once stopped an army of black armored devils(enclave) as the brotherhood refuses to call them there name. Also you could join the brotherhood under order of Elder maxson (squire maxson) and go on a journey to unknown lands to set up another community with the brotherhood.Another add on could be the brother hood back west lose contact with the brotherhood and investigate which will start the final war of liberty.Other addons are up for Bethesda to decide.I forgot to mention that if you side with the brotherhood the lyons pride are enemies and you return west with the brotherhood afterwards and you get to see the original fallout 1 world in 3d and if with the lyons pride a new place altogether. Also forgot to mention that when scavenging the vaults you find a pipboy 3000 mkII and radio equipment.an idea is to link liberty radio with galaxy news so you can hear the news in D.C. Hope you like it......

War.....War has changed

Christian O'Connell Ireland / fuikid on psn

my idea for the storyline for fallout 4 is that you start out as an 8 year old boy. A group of people break into your home kill your parents and take you. the group of people take you to there camp and you become a slave. when you turn 18 you decide you're gonna break out of the camp, if you fail to escape the camp a gaurd takes pitty on you then he lets you become part of the faction. You work your rank up to genral by doing jobs in the wastes(but you can leave the faction at anytime but then they will send people after you.). when you work your way up to general then your able to find the guy who killed your parents./ if you do succeed and escape the camp you wander the wastes looking for the man who killed your parents. this game should take place in a nuclear winter in canada. Locations

MINNESOTA - have a nuclear winter. Roam the forests and encounter many mutated beasts, like wolves and bears. Go to lake superior. Many northern settlements because the south was more ravaged than the way north. A lot of lakes in minnesota that are permantely frozen, settlements on them. There are settlements in the high pine trees. With bridges running across like megaton. Different weapons, factions, creatures, and a longer storyline.

Australia - Giant mutated koalas and kangaroos stalk the environment, killing all unwary wanderers(australia never did any thing to get nuked)

'Commonwealth- The next fallout game could take place in the commonweatlh, with supreme technology and weapons being used

Lake Michigan- Have a huge city in the middle of the lake kinda like Tenochtitlan. Pirates on rafts floating up the lake. Towards the north neauclear winter towards the south swampy marshland.

Scandinavia would be sick nice to explore!!!

Canada- The diverse terrain and mutated beasts that could exist in Canada would provide a unique experience for players. NOTE: See "Fallout 4: Canada".

Europe- Hello there whats this all then?

Cuba wouldnt it be cool to see what happened to Cuba? It could be a really fun ADD ON Reply to The Master lives~

Englandforest of dean mutant sheep.

China

New York - Okay, I know people have said that this would be overused, but my friend had a fantastic idea for this. What if the entire game world consisted of nothing but the upper levels of NY? As in, what if NY had flooded, "Day After Tomorrow" style, and the entire city was now nothing more than the upper halves of the decrepit skyscrapers, and there were massive platforms (and rickety bridges, think "Temple of Doom") constructed spanning the various elevations, and an entire land of various towns, raider encampments, and just "wasteland" existed completely above the ground? This would also lead to an entire 3D map, creating much more depth and exploration possibilities. Also, in one of the expansions, you could go to Niagra Falls. That'd be interesting with the contrast of it's natural beauty, which has been completely ruined by the War.

Florida

South America - We could have contacts with people from Mexico and such.

Norway - mutated polar bears, anyone? Snow Guai! (Y)

Japan- would not be a great idea

former Anchorage front line'

Finland Mutated polar bears in sauna? ;P

Outer Space!- *blasts cyborg deathclaw away while flying a tie fighter* Hell yeah!

Deep South- Build off of Point Lookout and find out what happended to Louisiana, Mississippi, and parts of Arkansas. Maybe put the New Orleans ruins, destroyed Super Dome anyone?

California You could go to mulitiple citys, Los Angelas, San Fransico, and Sand Diego. San Fransico would have two large sides across the Golden Gate Bridge. In Los Angelas you could visit hollywood and fight or talk to Ghoul Clebs or Vally Girls. San Diego could be really destroyed, with mutated creatures, and almost no standing buildings. ~Liam12342

Sante Fe/Albuqureque Sante Fe is filled with stucco buildings, and trees in town. Sante Fe could be a little bit like New Vegas, to where Sante Fe was not directly hit by a nuculer bomb/s, and most of the buildings are still standing. Sante Fe is only a small part of the map, you can leave Sante Fe and explore the desert, and the small mountains. It would be great, but hard to program, if you could walk to Albuqureque (Sante Fe and Albuqureque are very close together) which would give a large map and much exploration. Albuqureque could have been directly hit by Nukes, giving a very diffrent varity of locations and enviorments. The worlds longest Tram is located in Albuqureque and it leads to a washington like cold forest. It would be interesting if the Tram was still intact so you could go to the frorest. ~Liam12342

""Mexico City"" In my opinion its the perfect place, large bustling industrial cities slums rich countryside THE OCEAN there could be some mexican mafia taken control over the city and they are abusing and making the people of mexico miserable you can choose to join them and eventually take over or lead one of the largest riots ever to overthrow them i dont know just throwing ideas out there. what im mostly looking for is a large destroyed city thats alot more closed quarters and not as open as DC i wanna be able to run through the slums of a city with burnt out buildings thousands of destroyed households collapsed in and broken down while around every corner is something terrifying and a constant threat thats what i believe is fun i was unbelievably disappointed when new vegas wasnt all busted up because to me thats what makes a fallout game very atmospheric and unique.

"""Open World America"""-About 75% of America and Canada avalable for the player to explore. The BoS trying to reunite all wastelanders and vault dwellers to get revenge on China by nuking them,(The boomers said they were rebuilding a B-29 bomber),and could scavenge a atom bomb from Area-51 which is protected by Secret Service Agents. But the plan fails when fulty wireing destroys the plane on a test flight.Meanwhile the Enclave is working on a prodject in Florida trying to get a space craft working so they can take over the chinese orbital launch station orbiting around Jupiter. While wastelanders are working alongside the NCR to fortify the coast in case of another invasion of the chinese.

Providence, Rhode IslandThe smallest state in the union has a bigger appetite for death and danger than any Player Character in Fallout. Rhode Island is litterally an island now and has walls protecting the island like Doomsday. Crazy-ass people live in the ruins of Providence now called Satan's Den and love torture, cannibalism, and terrorizing Massachusetts and Connecticut settlers. Dont worry Rhodies, Zachattak471 is making sure you're heard ;)--Zachattak471 08:44, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

New Orleans, LouisianaIf Point Lookout and New Vegas had a child, it be New Orleans. New Orleans now known as Gulf Hub is a gambling, prostitution, mob bossed run town bringing the South and Midwest and everyone from sea to shinning glowing sea come for a good time. The marshlands and swamps wasteland is filled with humanoided mutated gators, flightless, Jurrasic raptor looking feathered birds roam the open areas of swamps, and a three armed mutated Huckleberry Fin lol. Oh and Tobar the Ferrymans brother lives here, known as Omar the Fisherman lol again. A better story line on par like that of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout 3. Will get your emotions and sins going.--Zachattak471 08:44, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Canadian nuclear winter set in the foresty mountian ranges since appearently in the fallout world the U.S. annexed canada.

fireball launcher- it shoots...well, FIREBALLS!!!

The Tamer -A gun that tames feral ghouls and makes them fight for you.

Samurai Sword

Battle Rifle Class -Ar-15s,M-1s,Service rifle,Semi-Auto hunting rifle,ect.

Fire-breathing Horse

Sea Serpent-this is basicly a mutated killer whale.

Mutated Beaver

Mutated Whale

Mutated Fire-Spitting Pre-War Mother-In-Law Zombie Army -this is basically all the worst things i could get in to a sentence.

Mutated Seals

Nuclear Corrosive Fire-Spitting Flying 50-foot tall Explosive Republican Ghoul 4channers - The single worst thing in the universe

Bosses

A water based boss.

Commander Jericho- Leader of the Talon Company or other named merc company. Once killed, there is a less presence of mercs.

Lord Runner- Leader of the Raider faction. Once killed you can destroy the Raiders forever, OR become the new Raider leader.

Enclave all i could think about in new vegas was were is the enclaves?? hope fallout 4 will be more like fallout 3. we need more vaults (better vaults)and make them harder to find. need more boss fights and such.kinda like the master, calculator, the brain but make them really hard. fallout new vegas was to plain unlike fallout 3 wich was full of meaning and history in every single building. all about the details. and please for god sake give us the abilty to run!!! The Master lives~

Factions

Wateland Stingers- A group of raider like people but with awsome tracking skills, they wander the more barron parts of the wasteland in groups of two to five.

Red,White, and Blue Cross - A group of highly trained doctors. Descendants of red cross members. They travel the wasteland helping settlements. They are often times armed with a .44 magnum or a laser pistol. You can buy chems from them. Make a side quests where you can protect their medical caravan routes.

The Children of Magnum - a rather triggerhappy cult who worships a .44 Magnum in mint condition.could have a quest about stealing the magnum.mabe it could have super firepower.

Canadian Rangers- Descendants of Canadian Rangers, who crossed the boarder into the US at the time of the great war. If Fallout 4 is in northern us territories with woodsie areas, this would be perfect. They operate in an army base in the forests of the mountains in Wyoming. They have salvaged weaponry from the base, and the basee is heavily guarded by cannons (think Boomers). The Rangers send out patrols throughout the wasteland. Their are standard rangers, and there are Elite Rangers. Elite Rangers carry unique armor and powerful rifles. The Rangers are skilled in battle, and are in a war with another faction called, The Mountaineers, for control of the mountains.

The Feinschmeckers - a group of post-apocalyptic snobs donning suits, top hats and .32 pistols.

Blade Runners -a group of raiders using knives and swords only. The leader is named Razor and carries an antique battle axe.

The Makeshift Men (also known as Macgyvers Clan) - a guild of traders and inventors specializing in producing awesome weaponry made out of junk. Responsible for the making of the "Knick-Knack-Paddy-Whack" (a fully automated meelee weapon made out of planks and a lawnmower engine)

Armageddon Angels - a sisterhood of post-apocalyptic women armed with pre war assault rifles and swords. They aim to clean the wasteland of mutant creatures and other threats.

Commonwealth - a faction that has supreme technology and weapons. Brotherhood of Steel is trying to form up with the Commonwealth to restore technology, but are denied by the Commonwealth

Brotherhood Of Steel Outcasts I would like for the Outcasts to play more of a role in Fallout 4. They can have outposts and forts all over the wasteland where they collect all the technology they find. Theey can have a plot line where they have gotten info from several scavenged vault-tec computers about a secret underground Vault-tec headquarters where their is reported to be a large stash of prewar technology such as: computers, weapons, power armor, and coordinates for a Chinese missile launching station in space. The location is not given on the computer, but rather a code must be entered to find the coordinates to the vault tec headquarters. The outcasts ask for you to search around the vault overseer computers in vaults in the area because supposedly 4 overseeers were given 1 number to a 4 number code. So once the vault was opened they would meet at a certain location and rebuild the country with the resources. Once the player gets the code they would be given a location uof the vault tec headquarters under an air force base. Once inside, the player finds many preservation chambers with vaultt tec scientists in them from befor ethe war. The player can ressurect the scientists and assign them to study with the outcasts and share their knowledge of technology in exchange for the Chineese missile coordinates. Once tyou have the coordinates, you can decide to either destroy the missile station or set up a retalliation launch directed right towards China. With the new technology, the outcasts dominate the wasteland and send out many "wasteland preachers" to teach the wasteland about technology and survival.

Larry's Liberators A group of mercs who aim to bring peace to the wasteland by wiping out the entire raider population. They have a strong belief that chems cause evil "radier-like" behavior and they try to collect chems throughout the wasteland and dispose of them. THeir leader is an ex-raider named Larry. He will pay you caps if you bring in chems for him to dispose of. A quest you can do is to colledct map markers of raider camps so Larry's Liberators know where to set up outposts.

New World Order- Remnants of the Enclave and descendants of Pre War politicians. They aim at using the wasteland resources to create a new government that will dominate the wasteland and restore the United States to former greatness. They have gotten their hands on an FEV virus that they are working on mass producing to slip into every water supply in the wasteland.

The place, commonwealth, since we know nothing about it. But again, the game focuses on american culture, I woulden't

wanna see the MAIN series in another country, maybe a spinoff like "Fallout:Europe" or something, but not in the main. And New York seems interesting, we've had San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas(New reno right?) and Washington DC, New York seems like the right choice since it is one of the more wellknown cities.

Only weapon I agree with is the grenade launcher and that's only becuse big guns have a small selection. Apparells, Advanced combat armour seems nice, but remember that damage resistance can only reach 85% and you'll get it eventually, so a new "better" power armour seems stupid, and a mirelurk armour..?

haha, nukalurk combat armour:D a glowing armour;P The Master lives~

About creatures, no, no, no, yes, no, NO. There are a couple of animals I would like to see though, chickens, birds, gecko's again, some form of fish which now walks on land, no landshark(too stupid), goat, horse, mountain lion and snake. Ahyea, and just ordinary lizards, as you can find lizard on a stick and eat, there should be small harmless lizards roaming around.

What if the main character lived in the woods and when the nuclear disaster hit his cabin and all the

woods around it was left intact and he and a group of survivers fought through armies of super mutants

to get to a vault. they have a stronghold that if they find enough savage and stuff they can upgrade it

-deathclawpoop

an indian tribe that can help you survive in the game that only use hatchets, bows and arrows, spears and throwing knives.these indians can be nice or hostile towards you depending on or rep with them.

I can just see Fallout 4 set in Central Australia, yeah. A vault set into Uluru, & then nothing for a million miles. Great.

Maybe vehicles'd be a good idea.

Pararaptor 05:37, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Fallout in Canada or the commonwealth would be awsome.

I think it'll be in the Commonwealth. Anyway, I like the Fallout 4 Canada Storyline page, but this stuff is a bit too unoriginal. Too many of the names of the factions sound like they've been used already, i.e. Northern Rangers, Children of Magnum, etc. There already is a grenade launcher, it's called the Miss Launcher. Anyway, you could possibly set a Fallout in Canada, since it was annexed by the U.S. and probably had some Vaults. However, Europe/Asia/Australia would not work with the feel of the series. Broeman 02:17, 16 March 2009 (UTC) Check out Fallout 4: Canada

WRONG! Fallout is about how America was in the early days(excuse the pun), well the culture at least. If Fallout 4 happens anywhere it should be in America, but where? New York is an obvious choice but the idea is used up like a corner-side prostitute and wouldn't feel original in the least. Plus good ol' liberty city just doesn't have the feel for Fallout. Hmmm... A thought just occured to me, how about New Jersy? User:kill the overseer! 1:02]]

If Cannada has vaults then maby, but lets stay in america for now:) and if anything Norway would be fun:) The Master lives~

If you want Fallout to stay in America how about Springfield? Mutated yellow Trogs? D: hawr... kidding. I think Canada is a good idea, or maybe central-america if there's anything interesting. Flying Deathclaw is pretty unrealistic though. 217.85.231.115 21:35, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I KNOW I KNOW!!!!!!!11111 how about new mexico, utah, or nevada you know desert states or colorado. maybe somewhere near NORAD. Fallout New Vegas already is

Here's an idea: "Mad Max Fallout"! It could take place in the desert redgions of the southern U.S. and you would have a car and be required to fight raiders over gasoline. If you lose you lose your gas, you lose any chances of survival. -Xandus the Legend umm NO!

But flying a vertibird over the wastelands would be awesome:D

Since the series ties in elements of 50's and 60's culture, and the music was a hit in Fo3, they should have more popular music from the period like Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, etc for Fallout 4. Butcher Pete 02:07, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

More music. I got bored of radio way too quickly JK1464 01:24, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

I just wish it would last forever.. Have like a 16 disc game set. I'll pay whatever they price. I never loved a game more than Fallout 3. FTW!!!!!

JAAA! il pay whatever toooo make a HUGE game we will pay whatever! and use you're time to make it as good as fallout 3:)

Some new locations is needed, perhaps more varied than the Capital Wasteland... I find it a shame that all the subway stations and run-down houses are so god damn generic, and much of the open world consists of rocky plains. How about a desert that is located near the highway? Love the Canada idea... Although this may sound patriotic, I like the idea of a Fallout game located in Scandinavia. I know that the Fallout games are based around the particularity of American-50's-the american dream-red scare-thingy, but Norwegian and western European culture was actually very much like that back then. Besides, nuclear winter is a thing that has never been taken up in the series, and Psycho-crazed Raider vikings with rusty battle axes made out of junk would be a killer (pun intended).

Dude, have you ever played Morrowind? Specifically Bloodmoon. Here is the best example: Thirsk(http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Thirsk). Note the hollowed out stump. Way to be original, Bethesda. JK1464 01:24, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

Maybe an Europe-only DLC?

PS: The idea of a never-ending Fallout game is... so... Sorry, am I drooling? What i meant to say was: AWESOME! Perpetuum mobile FTW! AngryNorwegianDude 19:36, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

NEVER ENDING FALLOUT SHALL BE!!! Also, I think that Fallout in Scandanavia would actually be a cool idea. I would love to be able trek through snow covered forests at night, hunting down a giant snow guai. If there was a Scandanavian Fallout, I would like to see sailing as a major part of the game. Just imagine being able to shoot down raider boats with a minigun turret, or boarding an enemy ship and engaging them in close combat. This would also allows more use of water-based creatures. -Xandus the Legend

Yeah, but i think the Canada idea is better, because it actually IS a part of the US in the Fallout universe... Besides, the only "real" mutated beings who could be situated in Norway is lots of beavers, wolves and bears (ordinary, mind you, there are no polar bears in Norway) and giant mutant salmon. Canada would have much better wildlife and much more varied environments than boring ol' Norway... All that is here is pine woods and fjords! AngryNorwegianDude 09:56, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

-The Master lives~

WTF, norway isnt boring... it's filled whit ideas, like a mutated bear, mutated cats, eagles, Squirrels, foxes, wolves, elks and much more. and could have add on inn Spitsbergen whit mutated polar bears wich i saw someone wrigth somewere calling them snow ghuai, and what about mutated pinguins x). the raiders could be norse mythology style;P

Russia

with feral commies and a huge landscape to explore to see what the americans did to russia with weapons like the ak'47 and music with an russian accent.

But you also have to think about the purifier. it's making all the water pure which is the biggest element in fallout water so it has to be far away like I said alaska would be best it's far away, it's integral to the story, it's in america, it has a new element to it, there's probable cause for the BoS to be there that's very important to the fallout feel, and new factions can join Chinese, Inuits, and even vehicle to a certain extent anchorage is the last supply of oil in the world.Bolo33 23:15, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I thought Fallout 4 in Aus. was a bad idea, but then I remembered... Drop Bears! Pararaptor 06:51, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Snow Guai wins the entire internet. Nitty 01:03, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

You know what I want? armour fragments. Like the oblivion armour system (greaves, gauntlet, etc) but i'd like to have individual parts of armours so left leg plating right arm leather patch. With this we could really get into that post apocalyptic feel of rag-tag cobbled together armour. Power armour might be a bit of a problem with this. As for benefits you would get get bits of the "enchantments" so you might have some rad res from a power helmet, extra AP from an armour and so on. I'd love to travel around with that kind of armour instead of all these full body costumes which take fun out of making costumes... well thats my block of text worth. Lord Snip...No, wait, King Snip!. 08:32, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Nitty, Snow Guai is pretty much the best lol... Onipix Horrigan F horrigan 21:41, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

i think we should be a ghoul in the next one. and learn to build reinforced humanskin light armor. all stitched up like the ghoul mask but a whole torso arms and head. --The failure 22:21, October 1, 2009 (UTC)the faiulure--The failure 22:21, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

This would be a new kind of dress-up. We should be able to become ghouls but I'd rather start as a human or a snork. 81.234.140.17 09:15, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

I agree with the "never ending" Fallout concept. Not only would the game clock not have a limit, but there would also be developing quests, where the results of one quest (large or small) spawn multiple other quests, which would then spawn additional quests, etc. So what if it takes up like 40 gigs, we have terabyte hard-drives these days... And maybe these quests could give some insight into some of the unknowns of the Wasteland. Also, should you choose to accelerate Harold's growth, the Wasteland would gradually become filled with plant life again. Also, I think that they should do a Fallout on another continent, just for the sake of variety... Can you imagine what mutated anaconda's would be like? 128.158.1.162 20:20, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

I like the greande launcher having the same Rock-it launcher stlye mechanism,if you ever played RE% or RE Survivor then you'll know what i'd expect. The Daddy Banhammer.gif 20:23, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

If it had mutated deer that I could chase through a forest halfway across the map, then shoot it in the arse with an arrow, I just might be interested in FO4. 71.90.169.144 05:34, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

That's been done in Oblivion. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Creatures#Deer JK1464 01:28, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

No point doing Australia, most of its already a wasteland. Although the concept of a Chinese vault-style construction located in the newly-annexed Australia (who wouldn't want one of the most mineral-heavy continents as a vassal during a time of resource shortages... I know you can't run an engine on rare earths, but this is SCIENCE!). Maybe even call the vault thing the Forbidden City, that would be a nice cultural reference. Anyway, I think its going to be in the Commonwealth (way too many references in the current one for it to be missed). But more importantly... when? Because if they keep advancing the games timeline for each title, its not going to really be post-apocalyptic anymore, more pre-recovery than anything. I vote for a concurrent timeline, running at the same time as FO2. Long enough after the war to be a little developed, not so long after that modern-day references or landmarks are ludicrously well-preserved.--Ishotamaninnewreno 09:02, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

Gentlemen, Fallout 4 shall be Fallout.......

  • points to sky*

IN SPACE!!!

Think of the awesome possibilities! -That Legendary Motherfucker

lets put seasons in it like nuclear winter and a nuclear summer autum and spring with each its unique quest's and animals radio active rain so you need to build yourself a shelter (or find one ofcourse)

MORE STEALTH: I didn't particularly love the Splinter Cell series, but I did love the stealthy tools and weapons, especially the whistling sticky cams. You could also throw objects like soda cans and bottles to distract an enemy. It's great fun to have a high sneak level and crouch using the Chinese Stealth Armor (from Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage add-on), but it would be more fun to distract enemies with objects, etc. One of the only weapons you can use to alert enemies to a CAUTION state is the grenade (frag, pulse, whatever). This alerts them and they run around with random dialogue, which is amusing. The Raiders I especially want to distract away from each other so I can mezz one with the Mesmetron and make him a slave (serves you right you murderous bastards).

Having the ability to distract enemies with milk bottles or other junk thrown across an area would add a lot of fun to the whole experience. There could also be instances where it's the only way to sneak past an enemy without doors locking from the enemy triggering an alarm (say like an old bunker or fort that still has the heavy metal doors etc). It doesn't have to be done the same way as Splinter Cell, but an added stealth aspect. I think a great thing Bethesda did with Oblivion before Fallout 3 is the spell you could use momentarily to go invisible. So, to see something similar like that in Fallout 3 was exciting.

...As far as other things like settings, I think New York would be cool, I agree. The US government is also in other places like Guam and Puerto Rico. Perhaps somewhere where the Enclave still has a strong faction, even if cut off from the Continental US (and a dead "President" Eden). Perhaps stronger Enclave technology and different breeds of mutants could be part of such a place. [lengjaihk]

I agree with being a ghoul. Like Oblivion, there could be an option to pick different factions or races. If you were an Underworld Ghoul (not feral) you would have an immunity to radiation (if not be healed by it) and maybe even Super Mutants wouldn't be hostile towards you unless you are hostile in front of them (the way feral ghouls act in when you wear the ghoul mask and shoot one). Ghouls mention in Fallout 3 that Super Mutants seem to consider them one of their own or just ignore them.

Another idea is the ability to join particular factions like Raiders, or the Outcasts (not just working with them but are considered in their ranks). You can sort of be a Regulator in Fallout 3, but I'm talking about a menu showing factions you belong to. [lengjaihk]

need more unnarmed and melle attacks. kinda like jayson bourn style.

My storyline for Fallout 4

it is parallel to the events of Fallout 3, and takes place around the same time as the Lone Wanderer's journey in Washington DC etc., but the game takes place in Canada with another character..

but first you play as a Canadian soldier, fighting the Chinese in Toronto, you go through about 40 minutes of playing as this unnamed Canadian soldier, but you find a baby on the ground, starts the creating part, after finished you take the baby and hand it off to a woman, who runs away with it, you finish the misison, but the unnamed canadian soldier dies at the end......

your character is a leader of a powerful hunting group starting with powerful weapons and armor, killing monsters and fighting off other enimies, however during one mission you fall off a cliff, and wind up in a jungle, you lose all your weapons, armor etc. and just regular clothes, you dont know where you are etc, and lost all your memories, there you start your journey etc. like the Wanderer did once he escaped the vault, going to neighboring places etc.

during the game there will be mentions by canadians surivors etc. of the Lone Wanderer and his journey in DC, there will be lots of talking about him

Final mission= you go to DC, and are tasked to kill the Lone Wanderer, you meet him and you fight the Wanderer, but the battle ends in a stalemate, and he explains who he is and who you are..... ... wanderer and the fallout 4 character exchange in a huge diologue before the Wanderer parts ways.........

good stuff guys.. how do you like my story

note= the baby the Canadian soldier finds, is not the main character, the baby is just the ancestor of the main character.......

What about relationships, i mean why cant you have a girlfriend or wife, its a RPG which runs on an amazing engine, they should have done this. Fallout an 18 rated full on goryfide RPG and it doesnt even let you have get it on with a woman(not even a kiss lol) they need to make it more real life like, add relationships extreme blackmailing kidnapping etc.

Well holy moses, the person who did the first block of ideas has a hell of an imagination...Anyways I'd like to see the enclave again, or at least have the option to be part of them (would be the series first time), I'd also love the commonwealth environment, full of androids and moral gray areas...or even better, have a game that continues a storyline, like the aftermath of the capital wasteland, or a return to the new california republic...that would be best, cause I'm not sure about this New Vegas game...in fallout 2 you had a new rheno where they where big shiny casinos, pornographic movies and mafia leaders, I wouldn't enjoy something like that to appear again.

Weapons? I'd like the return of technological small guns, like the pankor jackhammer, bozar and such. Also there should be plenty gatling lasers in technological places, it is hell to find one in the capital wasteland... It would also be nice to ride a vertibird and cause some mayhem with it.

I'd like the brotherhood to go back being just tech...saving the wasteland was enough work. Also they should have possession of the last arsenal of nuclear weapons, ready to launch in any emergency...that might be funny to tinker with. But please, no more vaults, I am sick and tired of those body piles holders.

And for the end of it all? for the good guys, the development of a new goverment, fair and just. And for the bad guys, nuclear hellfire for everyone, and you remain in the aftermath in a tiny preservation shelter, with a radiation free power armor and a fat man to explore your own destruction...these sociopath decision are what made every game in the series a winner!

IDEA 4 FALLOUT 4 NEW VEGAS

okey, this game is cmbination of fps/rpg but the thing that this game lacks is vision of gameplay, i mean that, probably many of gamers play the game in first person perspective and, you take alots of drinks, pill and other stuff and you can't see the effects, and other thing is when you're in wastelands and you wear a helmet, I want to see this helmet just like in metro 2033, so i can feel it, and maby ugrade it so it can give me improvment in vision, zooming, locating targets, improving and repairing helmets and other staff, the main thing this game lacks is gadgets, you just can't feel them in gameplay, i don't understand how this page works and who created it and does anybody reads it... so give me your toughts!

MY IDEA FOR FALLOUT 4

After wiping out the Enclave in DC, the Brotherhood of Steel send troops into the midwest United States to see if the Enclave's influence had grown there. After scouting the area and finding that the midwest is in even more disorder than the DC area, Elder Rothchild (Elder Lyons dies) commands that they start building military settlements to help the people there. That's where it begins.

Just like in Fallout 2, you are related to the Lone Wanderer and you are his son with Sarah Lyons being your mother. You go through tutorial quests to learn how to do combat and set your skills and special. Soon you are asked by the Lone Wanderer, who is made leader of your settlement Steelville, to find an old grain mill that can be used to provide a stable food supply. On going to the grain mill you find that it is controlled by a tribe of powerful raiders called the Black Plain. You find a terminal there and see that they plain to raid your settlement. Upon returning you find that it was raided while you were gone. Only 5 survivors are left. When asking one what happended he says they took a lot of citizens captives and burned down some buildings. You look into your home/town hall and find that the words "Come get me" are spelled out in blood. Their is also a holotape on your dad's desk. When listened too it says,"By the time you find us, your friends and family will be dead. For us to spare their lives, give us all of your technology; power armor, lasers, tesla cannons, all of it. If you don't, find a good place to bury 100 bodies." The survivors then task you to find and kill the leader of the Black Plain and rescuse the captives. For your journey, they give you an Assualt Rifle and ammunition, a scoped hunting rifle, some recon armor (you have not recieved power armor training), 200 caps, and 10 stimpaks. From their you just fight and adventure into the plains. You can have new weapons like bows and arrows, crossbows, tomahawks, shotguns, scoped hunting rifles and hunting rifles, dynamite, old tommy guns, and spears. Along with Brotherhood technology if you can find it. the main quest will be to find your mom and dad and rescue the captives. Center this around an area that doesn't have a lot of technological weaponary like DC.

I says they should add a Mafia crime syndicate type of faction. Grimy Pre War Trench Coats. Fedoras. And Tommy Guns. It would be hilarious. And they could be ghoul haters. You know. Cos' the Mafia hates ghouls. Interesting dialogue can be written. (Ba da bing ba da boom. What does that mean? I don't know!) Molotov cocktails. Mafia sidequests.

And um... A big map... A really big map, for vehicles. Travelling through the desert and stuff, exploring on vehicles. If that's not your thing, then we keep fast travel in the game.

More flashback sequences and punga trips. Or something similar. Commonwealth, mentioned a billion times, I'm sure most of us people agree on that matter, that the Commonwealth should be in Fallout 4. And uh... yeah, that's all of the top of my head for now.

Make the new Fallout different from Fallout 3. Like in New Vegas you have a completly different story which has nothing to do with Fallout 3. Put it between Fallout 2 and 3 and make it to where your a slave born to slave parents where you start your creation progress. Put it in Philadelphia, it has to be the same situation to The Pitt. When your 19 do a big escape mission in which you escape and end up in a little town built inside the Phillies Stadium. Have a reference to The Pitt! Make it to where you join a group of raiders who go over to the The Pitt during the cleansing of The Pitt. Make a lot of references to Philadelhia. Have weapons like old muskets (found in the muesum of history there), Uzis, crossbows, scoped hunting rifles, and all kinds of assualt rifles! At the end your character is shot by Elder Lyons (way before he was Elder) you go into a kind of last stand mode like in Call of Duty to where you pull out a 10mm and shoot two of Lyon's guards. In the end Lyons shoots you in the head game over. Have more super mutants who are meaner tougher and gray. Rifle grenade will be good too.

Put Fallout 4 in somewhere where there is a lot of water. I like the idea of boats. Maybe putting it in Boston and saying a bomb went haywire and went into the ocean and caused a giant tsunami so the city ruins are mostly water. It would replace cars if you don't like that. I would like more stealth and i want things like mountain lions and some kind of deadly creature in the water. Mirelurks get annoying after a while. But more shotguns and pistols in the game. But all in all what i'm saying is mega tsunami+Boston+boats+more weapons and stealh=Fallout 4

-RedTyphoon34

What about cats? They're all supposed to be dead, but what if some of them mutated into something bigger (and evil)? Canada would be a great setting, and they were near the USA, so with little changes to the enemies and creatures, it may be fantastic. Can you imagine a giant Yao Guai descending from grizzlies? Also, some parts of Canada may have been hit only by radiation. Mutated forests, invading what remains of cities, maybe even more deadly than irradiated post-apocalyptic deserts. The Enclave wouldn't be a strong enemy in Fallout 4: they lost their president and half of their army after the war against the Brotherhood in the Capital Wasteland. Commonwealth, however, can be a good substitute: they've the Hi-Tec equipment, the money and the cyborgs. I'd like to see some slow-but-powerful shotguns. Combat shotguns must be weaker but faster, but one-handed shotguns might be the same. And what about new factions like a Norse Fire (the fascists from V for Vendetta) style faction - obviously they might be less powerful-, or the return of (papparapa) Goalie Ledoux and his band of hockey players? Isn't Canada the motherland of ice hockey? About new weapons, i've only one idea: a prototype of a short-range teleporter, i. e. a weapon that use fission batteries to freeze for a moment the enemies. Fission batteries are not a common item, so the player shouldn't be encouraged to use it too often, and it may have some countereffects like stealth boy.

Shouldn't there be storms? I mean there should be a lot of dust storms

f

Africa: Mutated Elephants, Irradiated cheetahs, Feral Ghoul Tribesman, Evil old pyramids, mummies(Well, no.)

Terrain: Worse than Africa today, which will be very bad.

Weapons: Crappy.

In retaliation to the deep south location maybe have Mardi Gras too ChrisusEnnius

the next fallout game should have giant irradiated spiders and should possibly take place in another state or countyr

My idea is in the canada talk section , check there if you want to see it , cause my computer is going slow right now : (

the next fallout game should have a group of people called the purifiers. like the regulators, the purifiers kill bad people and non feral ghouls but ALSO try to rid the world of all the mutated creatures and abominations that threaten humanity(or good non feral ghouls, super mutants, etc). you can do quest for them ounce you reach good statis but you could get bonus caps once you reach very good status... thought that would be a pretty good idea.

Um they have already done that .. all you did was change their names ? a few ways to make fallout better:throwing mini nukes, nuke portable nuke missile launchers and in set in huwii

dude in fallout 3 the regulators dont go after creatures. just after bad humans or non feral ghouls. unless what your talking about is in fallout 1 or 2 because i have never played those.

I think that Bethesda may be visiting the East Coast because Interplay and Obsidian already visited the West Coast. I would not be surprised if Fallout 4 took place in New York or Atlanta or something. And I'm sure that they'll have tons of weapons to make up for Fallout 3's lack of weapons and Fallout New Vegas hardly obtainable weapons.

Oh, and I heard somewhere that Fallout 4 may be confirmed this year at E3. Has anyone else heard this, and if so, where?

More masonry

The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown, is a great book for inspiration for further about Fraternity, Companions and so on. Under Washington: because Dan Brown walks us there, deep under it - and around Dürer: a Mason and a key of the book - his artworks maybe could be used Newton: a Mason and other important figure of the book - alchemy and stuf, science

Destroy Masonry

Destroy all members of Free Masonry Kill 33rd degree's members one by one - 33rd are the bosses, like Dürer, Newton and more Kill Liberty Prime or transform him as you wish into other machines Kill US Army, starting with helicopters Kill Chinese Army Kill leaders like US president, Chinese president, and so on

More tools

A Notepad in PibBoy to take notes on the big uncharted Wastelands

Nicer image and sound

Fallout 3 was poor aestetically THX for the sound

As good as F3

War never changes - and it is why we play this game

Two new races Ghoul- Supermutants and feral ghouls are friendly 25% markup for items and a required license for fat mans, missle launchers, and grenades.

Supermutant-Supermutants, Nightkin, Centaurs are friendly, 50% mark up for items, and a license for all weapons

My Idea for Fallout 4

You start off as a flawed mercenary who was left for dead by his crew, and you have to crawl through the wastes of San Fransisco. This is how it goes, you wake up in a BoS Stronghold which followed the ways of Elder Lyons. You speak with the doctor, a Mister Gusty who is named Dr. Fix up. He asks how you are, and you get through you can choose to join them or scavenge the wastes alone. If you join them, they give you three quests before you can search for your crew, infiltrate (undercover), the Men of The East/Women of The West and destroy them OR find a non-violent solution to the problem, bring three new initiates to Camp Barron and clear the place of Supermutants, and infiltrate a vault and bring back three pieces of technology with a BoS Knight.Once done they send you on your way with 10,000 caps, a follower,a safehouse, Power Armor , and a laser pistol or rifle.

If you go off on your own, you must raise 10,000 caps, recruit a new crew, and get equipment, a safehouse, and a faction on your side to eliminate your old crew.

Here are the factions you can ally with KAG, Men of The East/Women of The West, or the Stars of America.

KAG-Enslave a group of Ghouls in a city of Ghouls, test out the new Taming technology on Feral Ghouls, and infiltarte the Stars of America and destroy them. Rewards-10,000 caps, a safehouse, a follower, and metal armor, and a Chinese Assault Rifle or Pistol.

Men of The East- Recruit 10 new members, Gather equipment from the BoS, and destroy the Women of The West. Rewards- 10,000 caps, a safehouse, a follower, leather armor, and a minigun or missle launcher. Same rewards from The Women of The West, and same quest as the Men of The East EXCEPT destroy The Women of The West, you would destroy the Men of The East.

Stars of America- Make the BoS stop the onslaught on them, stop the Men of The East and Women of The West from fighting each other, and resupply the Mongrowls with ammo. Rewards- 3 factions on your side, 5,000 caps, Mirelurk armor, a safehouse, 2 followers a deathclaw and mirelurk, and a deathclaw claw shooter or boatfly venom spewer.

You can develop relationships with other characters, wether it be friendly, hostile, or romantic.

Final mission- You and your other followers, and faction(s) are assaulting Fort Maccon, you battle through three floors, on the first floor your first crew member is met, where he says, I'm sorry we betrayed you, he kneels, and you can execute him or leave him be. Second floor, the coward of the crew is shown he starts crying and says he's sorry and he'll tell you the password to the boss's terminal to unlock his door if you let him go, you have no choice actually and once he gives you the password, you can kill him, make him come with you, or let him leave. On the third floor, you're done, you've fought through too many mercs for mercy, you open the boss's door, and he says, you were my best friend I never ment to betray you, but I had to, he says look at San Fransisco, you see many broken shops and such, he says I was going to rebuild it, at this point he says you need to show dark in your heart kill your wife (if you have one) or your best friend ( if you have one) if you dont have either you kill the follower used most often Or you can kill him and dont have all the wealth and renovation (You can still renovate San Fransisco, you just dont get the thirt thousand caps he was going to use, because he takes it to the grave)

Of course there will be side missions and many towns and such, and other side jobs like equipment runs recruitment jobs and even outings with friends or family.71.12.237.165

Dude, not to get down on your idea or junk, but that kinda reminded me of Mass Effect 2. A little. sorry. But umm, it seems like (like ME2) you get personal relationship power, but not decide whether your evil or good or not. Too linear for my taste. Sorry. But this is just one man's opinion. 67SunsetStrip 23:20, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

That seems like a pretty sound idea. I'm actually working on a huge mod for F3 that I think could be a good Fallout game.

Story: The year is 2287, hundreds of years after the fires of the Great War have burned out. The Commonwealth of the United States is nothing but a hollow shell of it's former Pre-War glory. Hope, however, does remain in certain areas. To the west....the New California Republic, attempting, and succeeding at rebuilding civilization in the west. To the East, the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel is rebuilding the old Capitol as a beacon of hope....in between. Hell. The bayous of the deep south run thick with radioactive sludge, the plains of Kansas spawn twisters miles high, but...there is one area that no scavenger dares travel. Caesar and his Legion tell ghost stories of the place. The area that was fertile plains...is now covered in glacier again. From Minnesota up to Canada is the Deep Freeze. Bathed in eternal nuclear winter. Batteries, conductors, anything that can project heat is as valuable as gold here... and it is here, in a Vault...where The Shadow's story begins. Vault 59...Vault Tech gave it a phony reactor, the average temperature is 40 degrees Farenheit when the lights are on. It is from there The Shadow is cast out, to stop the drain on resources. Abandoned, alone, in the expanse of white. You must defeat the invading behemoth of the unjust Midwest Brotherhood, defeat the radiation, and maybe...just maybe...find a way to warm up, the Deep Freeze.

Gameplay: The area would span all of Minnesota, some of the Dakotas, A portion would be occupied by Lake Superior, which would be full of rads. A portion of Canada would also be explorable. DLC could span the old Anchorage line, Grand Portage, and Madison Wisconson. Gameplay would revolve around staying warm. Armor with masks would actually be useful, because outside there would almost always be a white out storm, think Metro 2033. You can use batteries to make heat and stay warm, much like Lost Planet you need to remain warm to stay at combat efficiancy. Enemies could be mostly recycled from 3, except for Albino Deathclaws and other nasties.

The area you just described sounds good , but the new features just seem pointless, why do you need another timewasting feature like eating in NV , Get rid of the Dress up To keep heat feature and add more fun features and it might be a good game , Plus the Story is a bit poor , Why would anybody fight You to keep the place cold ? there wouldnt be an opertunity for an antagonist , And why would you try to heat it up and not just Leave the area instead ? Its just my opinion though :)

My idea for the begining of fallout 4

The opening scence starts with an explanation of fev and how it was created. It the progresses to a siege of vault 87 through murder pass with a massive battle going on, you are then given your mission by the lyons pride which is to go and destroy the facilitys being used to produce all the mutants and to hunt for the leader in all this. During this battle you succesfully destroy the fev rooms and the giant vats uses to store it. You then begin your hunt for the leader after being separated from the pride. You go deep into the vault when you discover none other than the master who you are about to kill when he uses his abilities to give u a massive headache when you are knocked uncounsious by the incrediable pain. You then have a dream of your dad telling you to wake up and destroy the new menace. You wake up to find yourself being held over a giant vat as it les go you hold onto the giant claw which begins to lower when the lyons pride comes in blows up the container rescues you and you faint to hear the classic sound of ron perlman explaining stuff and how "war never changes". You awake 2 days later to discover you have a tumour caused by the master and a mere 2 weeks to stop the master and the plans he has in store for the wasteland such as what theyve already done. Capturing all robots in dc by telephatpic powers and an almost succesful attempt at blowing up the purifier.Kill-da-mutant 23:10, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

My Ideas For fallout 4"

  • May more gore and more realistic gore too.
  • Way bigger map like 4 times the size of fallout NV's map.
  • lots more weapons and more diverse types too like explosive bullet weapons.
  • Should have more "funtoplayness" about when you don't do any quests just walking around the wasteland.

to all those who write about how they want the lone wanderer to appear in another game , You must understand that they cannot do that cause the lone wanderer could look like anything , plus there is the fact that he could be good or evil , we are unsure , and also do not write such linear storylines as Fallout is an open ended RPG and cannot simply end at some point , and if they ever did that they have rectified it (Broken steel) , thank you

R0ND0s Idea for a Double-barreled Magnum"

  • Shoots 2 Bullets at a Time, so just 3 shots.
  • Double degradation.
  • Other texture of cause, this is stolen from the Mysterious Magnum.
  • It's called TwoBad (Masters of the Universe ripp-off).

IwantThisInFO4 R0ND0 14:50, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

have more variety and less blandness in combat and have it take place in a more middle class place like the out-skrts of chicago or even new haveb connecticut

MAKING THINGS:

Second on the idea of piecing together armor. There should be more craftable items like FO3 weapons (and maybe scarcer regular weapons and ammo) but include armor and New Vegas' recipes (at least the basic fry up a steak to get rid of rads). Making stimpacks was convenient but well-balanced. Ammo recycling was cool, but (sometimes) part of the fun is running out and having to improvise. The ammo reloading seemed pointless and a pain, so I wouldn't want to see that.

MUTANTS:

Definitely should be able to turn into a ghoul once you hit the lethal level, although I would think the radiation could still affect you at higher levels, but decrease stats like intelligence, charm, and strength, but boost endurance. Once you hit a higher amount (maybe 2000 rads), you'd go feral and game over (or someone doing an experiment puts a chip in your head that makes you explode at that point, just to keep radiation poisoning working as a game mechanic.) Maybe it could trigger a hidden quest where you turn feral, get shot and left for dead, then a character similar to Dr. Barrows finds you and tests an experimental cure for feral aggression. You would wake up as a regular ghoul and find that it worked (because you are that awesome ;), then have to go capture and cure some other ferals of aggression (and bring them somewhere safe for medical treatment), or choose a different side and exterminate them on orders from some other group also concerned about safety of Wastelanders and conserving food/supplies for them.

To maintain customization, once a human character hits 1000 rads, they could pass out and wake up in the care of a medic or ghoul settlement, and you could customize your appearance in a mirror like in the opening of New Vegas.

It would also be neat if you had to help someone who was starting to change, or had been a nice responsible ghoul for a long time, but was starting to decline into feral state. Maybe another plot could be getting captured and turned into a Super Mutant (like a twisted version of growing up in the Vault 101).

There's a piece of concept art from FO3 featuring a Centaur with a comb over, in a suit and holding a pipe and martini glass with his tongue. I'd like to see that guy in a game. :) I think he'd sound something like Dean Domino.

LOCATIONS:

Florida (with abandoned theme parks) or New Orleans with Mardi Gras would be sweet. I picture Mardi Gras would be performed by some cult, so it would be fun at first (ghouls in silly hats anyone?) but a little creepy. It would be nice to see other countries, but perhaps they could make it an add-on just to see if the audience likes it before making a whole game of it. Maybe there's a hideout of American remnant ghouls hiding in some base in China like the Chinese remnants in FO3, and you could go there, so there would still be some Americana that many fans appreciate, but other areas to explore, like that Forbidden City vault mentioned earlier in the thread.

COMPANIONS:

I love how much more the New Vegas companions were fleshed out, and helping them with quests was more satisfying than the gather me 5 of such-and-such and I'll give you caps, so it would be good to have multiple quests per character.

A romance option would be nice, but unlike Mass Effect, it would be more satisfying (while not necessarily realistic, but then again, with 200-year-old snack cakes lying around...) if you could romance any sapient companion, but encountering limitations due to faction affiliation, karma, and dialog choices.

Having a Nightstalker filling in the role of dog would be neat.

Be able to have more than one humanoid follower at once OTHER:

Hardcore mode could use greater penalties. Even though it knocked down some stat points, I, personally, didn't really notice ill effects and it was an easy fix. What really impacted my strategy was any loss in strength (such as super stimpack sickness) when I'm carrying a lot of stuff.

More variety in melee attacks

There should be a practice mode (like in Bully) when you learn a new unarmed technique. The Ranger Takedown was harder to implement than it sounded.

What do you guys suppose would be the next collectable after bobble heads and snow globes?

I also agree with more trips/flashbacks.

Also, they should have some kind of crazy weirdo who rides around on a mind-controlled Deathclaw, making grandiose threats. :)

Collectables? How about tapes of all the episodes of the Herbert Daring Dashwood and his faithful ghoul Argyle radio serial (which you can play on your pip-boy). The pre-war Johny Neutrino series could be used instead, if a link to DC is not possible.

Encounter: secret missile silo (no missile). a normal seeming house on the surface but with a security elevator to the underground silo in a closet. may have been used as a shelter after the war for the families of those in the military who knew of it, or perhaps the security computer uses robots to keep intruders out.

Weapons: "primative' firearms, weapons made by raiders with some tech know-how but not not much in the way of machinery - a one-shot sniper rifle, hand-pumped flamethrower with range determined by strength and such.

Crafting: more crafting, most of it useless. discovering craftable items which can function as decorations would be nice for the third + replays.

Fewer highways, in worse condition. it's been two centuries since the road crew has been by, the idea that any asphalt or concrete roadway is still around is bad enough, but throw in a nuclear war too and forget it. modern roads aren't built to Roman standards, most would just be paths if they haven't completely reverted to wilderness.

Gore: put the gore setting back in the game and let people choose the amount of blood and guts they want to see. the lack of a gore setting was one of the most disappointing features of FO3.75.67.224.12 03:20, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

im hopeing that there will be some better hairstyles for characters, and maybe a scaring option, some longer hair, maybe some dredlocks. Levi Lauson 18:36, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

I like the New York idea. But not a flooded NY. It would be too easy to jump at the wrong place and end up dying. Chicago would be another awesome local. You'd be able to meet the Midwestern BOS. A Laser Sniper Rifle, while it's a cool idea, would not be an efficient weapon. Projectile Sniper Rifles are meant to allow you to fire and no one would know where the shot came from. A Laser Sniper Rifle would give away your position, thus defeating the purpose of the fire-and-sneak-away method.--Ryker6121:27, May 2, 2011 (UTC)~2:27pm 5/2/2011

Not to be a party pooper, but personally I believe New York to not be canononically viable. I mean, if it was a Nuclear war with a non communist country, maybe. But with china being the main Nuke-Senders, Im pretty sure they would want to wipe the place with wall st off the map for good. Even if china didn't care, the vast concentration of people would possibly set them to attack the region to maximise casualties.

Thats just my 2 cents (which from Australian $ to US $ is about 2.2 US cents :P) 5t3v0 07:55, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

A GOOD IDEA WOULD THAT YOU CAN ROLL IN THE GAME.

Climate change/Seasons.

Creatures: there should be giant mutants like the behemoth in F3 but not just on land but underwater and maybe flying ones too. For land creatures, there should be giant digging worms similar to shockwaves one but smaller in scale, also land creatures that are able to grab and throw you and also attempt tp eat you, when this happens the player would have to repeatedly shoot the creatures mouth to escape. For water creatures, there should be mutated laviathans like the lagiacrus in MH3 and octopus etc. For flying creatures, flying creatures such as pains bird in naruto or flying reptails. With giant creature, if you are swallowed by one you should have a limited amount of time to try and blast you way out for for it completely devours you, different creatures have different textures and toughness so it requires different weapons for different creatures.

Craftables: you should be able to craft a vast amount of things e.g. weapons, armour and vehicles. Weapons: you should be able to break down weapons and put together other weapon parts to create uniques weapons to the player, there will also be schematics for weapons like the Rock-it launcher etc. armours: armour should have 5 pieces, helmet, body, legs, belt and gloves, each piece have a skill and when you wear the whole set you get a special skill with the whole set. you are able to craft different armour from creatures you kill or any junk that is usable. There should be schematics for armour aswell. Vehicles: you should be able to find vehicle parts around the waste and you should be able to piece it back together. vehicles such as motor bikes, or single pods like the ones you see in the waste from time to time. also there should be jet packs, all vehicles will use fuel and fuel can be brewed or found around the waste.

with the underwater creatures, there should be armour and weapons unique to underwater. climat change would make the game more dynamic, the player should be able to sprint and swim fast underwater. you should be able to choose from 3 unique race, human, ghoul or super mutant. at the start of each race will be humans but then they are exposed to radiation and morph into ghoul or super mutant depending on what you choose. each unique race have unique abilities, humans and ghouls are able to use vehicles, ghoul and super mutants are healed by radiation and super mutants and humans are the only ones that can use stealthboys. If a super mutant use too much stealthboy, they will turn to nightkins, for ghouls, if exposed to alot of radiation they will start to glow and emit radiation, which is a advantage in combat. In combat, for humans they are able to dual wield small weapons such as SMGs and pistols, for super mutants, any melee weapons damage is doubled and they are able to dual wield big melee weapons, such as dual wield bumper swords.

Fractions: the fraction idea in Fallout New Vegas was excellent, in the new Fallout game there should be more fractions, and some fraction can team up if the player can get them to accept each other. they should bring back Enclaves because they are just badass.

Companions: they should keep the ideas of having two companions, but you can choose who you want with you instead of having one machine and one non machine. with machine companions, you are able to build and equip them with the weapons you want. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv Scott Reiter- California,(first off there should be a co-op so you can kick ass in the waste land with your buddy ) the great war has shifted the poles on the earth cause of all the nuclear bombing, so seasons change drasticly, its takes place during a nuclear winter in southern california, brotherhood of steel has slowley been growing in masses as they are held up in Los Angeles. while NCR is in san diego in camp pendelton and coronado, in there main base of california , while orange county in between is the battleground between the two, no progress moving between the two factions, when your character comes into play a simple person just caught up inbetween the war ( you grow up with a dog or robot that you can raise and customize to your liking ), your job is to help one faction to power, or create your own factions by recruiting different tribes throuout the state, IE rejected BOS or discharged NCR rangers, you raise to power and take over NCR and BOS and hold your base of operations in San diego, but the kicker is that you get to play after your in power and take the role of protecting your new found kingdom from caesars legion and his mass of soldiers east of the colorado as they try to over tkae your basse, you take on any straglers to your army from any faction, you recruit engineers for new explosives, the BOS fo incredible energy weapons, NCR for your guns, you fight the caesar in the end, awesome idea i think.

Peter, U.K.

Lots of good ideas here, some GREAT ideas, and some... well anyway, lets be honest people whats the ONE AND ONLY thing we want in FALLOUT 4? or more accurately, whats the one thing we don't want in FALLOUT 4?

EXACTLY!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE to whomever is in charge of this magnificent series, please finally do it the justice it deserves and fix the crash/freeze bugs once and for all... HAVOK, OBSIDIAN, BETHESDA, ZENIMAX, someone please sort this out, i don't see this problem anywhere else, just look at what others like ROCKSTAR, ACTIVISION, E.A. and UBISOFT, have done recently, and they don't have this scale of problem...

(there's a thought, anyone remember the elder scrolls 4?, UBISOFT and BETHESDA, and that didn't freeze-up all the time!

We all know that the game-play, plots, visuals, stories, missions and characters will be as awesome as ever, just please do something about the freezing, it will make it so much better...

I hope this is read by someone who can do something, and cares enough about this series TO do something!

THANKS

Personally all I want from a FO4 is more of FO3!

OK a different location and storyline but I must have a large FULLY roamable (is that a word? lol) playing area, many good independant missions and lots of charachters.

What I don't want as is what happened with FONV is to find that after completing one mission a whole lot of other missions become unavailable. I also don't want to be forced into acting as peacemaker/messenger traipsing back and forth across the map delivering messages.

There needs to be lots of random bad guys to kill and lots of monsters. I also liked in FO3 and hope it would be replicated in a FO4 would be the ability to grow a charachter good or evil and still achieve all the objectives of the main storyline.

You start out as a child of a small settlement that gets attacked by some raiders. Instead of killing you, the raiders kidnap you. Ontheir way back to their headquarters, a scavenge team finds the raiders that took you and take them out. You are then taught the controls during tutorials that take place in your childhood with the scavengers. seventeen years later, when you are 25 you go out to get revenge on the raider group that killed your parents. You obviously fail and so you wake up in a stroafe room thats filled with corpses. You have to escape the base by sneaking through it. After you leave, you are confronted by the brotherhood of Steel since you are sighted leaving a raider base. At this point you have the option to either join the brotherhood by telling them you came for revenge, or join the raiders by attacking them. There is also another option to tell the Brotherhood that you are just a prisoner who escaped. By doing this option you will eventually stumble across the NCR and aid them. While siding with the Brotherhood you try to eliminate the threats to the Brotherhood and try to save the people of the Wastes.. If you side with the raiders, you realize that they are a group that is trying to join Caesars Legion. By raiding small towns and taking slaves, you finally get the raiders in Caesars Legion. If you side with the NCR, you try to get the rest of Chicago inder the NCR banner. This takes place seventy years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas so the NCR has expanded all the way to the Midwest. Caesar's Legion keeps getting pushed back east which is why they are currently in the Midwest. The Brotherhood is also the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood who expanded and the son of Sarah and the Lone Wanderer's daughter is the elder. Sorry about the roughness and bad quality of the story. I will probably be adding on to this or rewriting it below. Charlie1121 02:23, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

Also there should be a real dog, not a cybernetic dog like Rex.

My idea for fallout 4 would be that you and your friend fleeing the riots of Vancouver and decide to take refuge in Seattle. Suddenly when you get close to landing at the docks in the wharf a super mutant in the distance starts shooting in the distance and distracts you and you crash. the screen fades to black and you wake up in a camp in the neighbouring town of kirkland. You see a man washing some blood off your knee. After you start to feel better, he tells you a man named Aaron brought you here. You go to talk to him and thank him for saving you. You notice that your friend isn't there. You ask him where he is and he tells you to go check in the close settlement of Harocaster. He will give you a weapon to use according to your skills. At this time the skills menu and the s.p.e.c.i.a.l menu will pop up and you will choose your skills. Then he gives you the weapon and you're off to Harocaster. There you will get your next quest. That is my idea for the start of Fallout 4. In my idea this game will take you to the most famous landmarks in seattle such as the Space Needle. You would also be able to have help from companions such as Peter Tran, a homeless man in Downtown Seattle. Some good sidequests would be to find someone's lost daughter or to find the key ingredient to a medicine that could save lives. That are some of my ideas for Fallout 4.

(DLC) 1: *CRUISE CONTROL* Takes you on a cruise ship to Hawaii where you have to stop an evil scientist from destroying the ship.

2: *WASHINGTON'S PEAK* Takes you to mount rushmore. It would be cool to see what happened to it after the war.

3: *DEATH CANYON* Takes you to the grand canyon. Wouldn't that be cool?

4: *PORT COLUMBIA* Takes you to portland. The idea is that it would be all flooded and you would have to strategicly find safe ways to go.

5: *RED HAVOC* Sends you back to Vancouver to stop the riots from spreading to Seattle. (This would only take place after the main story, like Broken Steel in Fallout 3)

Fallout Caribbean Jamie Knox

The player is a merchant mercenary that is trapped in a prison in Key West with his friend. His captors are a group of pirates that haunt the waters around Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. They make their escape and on the way out help free another prisoner. The player's friend makes it all the way to a boat but the other prisoner is held up for some reason. The Player helps him and pushes him towards the boat and covers his escape. The Player then makes a run for the boat but a missile launcher hits nearby throwing up tons of shrapnel but the player stumbles onto the boat before passing out. You wake up in the boat and the Prisoner holds up the mirror where you make your appearance choices. Then he talks to you a bit about yourself. Your answers to his questions prompt him to make "assumptions" on what kind of person your character is. These are your character choices. He then summarizes what kind of person you are at which point you can change the things you don't like about your skills. He then introduces himself as a high ranking military leader in the major faction in the Caribbean. He takes you to their port and offers you jobs and so on. Their big enemy is New Cuba who they fight with over control of Cuba and the surrounding major islands with. The last major faction is the pirates that are all over the Caribbean. The Pirates are unconcerned with the larger islands content to leaving the big factions to kill each other off. They are not weak or small by any stretch of the imagination though. They simply prefer smaller bands of raiders and bases all across the ocean.

Your boat is the major way you get from island to island. You can upgrade it and buy and find weapons for it. Any companions you meet will stay on your boat similar to the way they do in Knights Of the Old Republic. Their is ship to ship combat and your companions can help with that as well. The need for oil in the Caribbean is high and all the major factions are fighting for control of whatever oil they can find. Their are oil rigs scattered about that you can help the factions gain control of, some even have whole settlements on them that you can help out or Pirates to drive off. You could just blow them up if you wanted to. In Hardcore mode you would need to find oil to keep on moving but in easy you would refuel in any ports you docked in. The boat mechanic would be simple with a map you can tell your friend where to take the boat and all you have to worry about is killing things around you. You could make it so that the only places you can land are in ports and docks and make the ocean its own instance.

After you help a few people and save small factions you will even gain the ability to become your own faction as the people you helped flock to your banner and you can take the oil rigs for yourself or gain the following of the people in control of them. You will even have your own port town that you can help customize much similar to Assassins creed.

There are the traditional small factions like the Brotherhoods pimped out oilrig/fortress, the Paradise Merchants and their cap rich trading empire, The Mutants, the smaller pirate gangs, the neutral towns. They will all play their parts as well

Your friend is a playable character as well, making the game co-op if you so wish. Now to defeat a faction you will have to take certain quests to destroy their leaders, infrastructure, trade, and military. How will you shape the Caribbean. Will you help New Cuba's cartel start a bloody reign of terror. Will you cement the New Caribbean nation's position as top dog. Will you create terror and chaos by helping the pirates take out the competition and leaving the waters of the Caribbean open to raiding and pillaging. Or will you grow tired of the tyranny and politics of the factions and lead the people that believe in you to a better life of prosperity. (If you choose to take over the Caribbean for yourself it should be pointed out that you can be either good or evil still meaning you can be the savior of your people and help the Caribbean prosper or become another dictator that only looks for power and control. You can also choose to make your town of people a part of any of the three factions.)

How will you turn out. Caribbean General. A Pirate. A Cuban Gangster. Or leader of your People.

I like the idea of it being a crosscountry trip. Start in the Northwest and go east, ending up in New York. I would love to see Mt. Rushmore in the Falloutverse. --MikeJTanner 22:07, October 11, 2011 (UTC)

I think fallout 4 should be in kentucky. You start out in a prison and they will ask you your name.they will take pictures of your head so you can edit your gender hair and face. Then they a give you your prison id know as your speical. Then they let you into the prison yard and you meet a ghoul named Richerd. He knows who you are and whant to help you get out of here.He tells you to meet him in the janitor closet durin lunch. There is a secert bunker that leads into the pipeworks. He will give you a weapon if you pick a weapon skill as a tag this were you pick your tag skills. If you take guns he will give you a silencd 10mm energy weapons lazer pistol melee a combat knife unarmerd boxing gloves explosives 5 frag gernedes if you dont pick a weapon skill he will give you nothing. You must try be sneakey for this part or you could set off a alarm and a bunch of prison garudes will come after you. After you escape the pipeworks you will be in a area near the prison yard. With a brige that leads off the prison island. This is when richerd tells you how good you did and also this is were he ask you about your skills so then you can pick your traits. then you head off to kentucky on the kentucky river when you get there you will get a chanse to edit your charcter one last time.

                                       Factions

The first faction are the outlaws. The outlaws are a bunch of cowboys kinda. They only help other outlaws and anything tha could be hostile to them and they love to use guns. They have horses cause there are some that are still in kentucky. You can get one from them if you are liked by them. The second faction are the PPH it stands for perfesonal police humans. Its not a good name but it dosent really mader they use unarmerd and melee. They dont help any one but them selfs and they drive trains boats and if you liked by them they give you a potable raft they are the ones that capture you in the beging. The last main faction is the brother hood of steel. You probly know who they are they help any one in need there are like the ones in fallout 3 tho. They like to use energy weapons every one uses exsplosives. They help anyone in need they fly vetabirds if you idolized you can pay them for vetabird rides.there are plenty of more factions and the outlaws are in he middel in karma pph bad brother hood good.oh and the prison is just were the pph capture slaves and there prison id is how they tell whos who.Midnight lance 02:54, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout Civil war by FifiZorz (also if you have a suggestion for the name leave in the parenthesis below 2)

I Think it should be in New York and new jersey and only have a small part off the map in the city like dc in fo3. The story line would be that ghouls are being like racially judged even more than before and a faction rises up like the KKK against black people (which really fucking sucked after going into and in depth discussion in history made me want to kill off all of them even if they stopped and im white! ) and they are the protagonist main enemy. the main protagonist can choose weather to be a ghoul or not but you still fight with the ghouls. Then there would would be 3 maybe 4 factions that you could side with. im only going to make one because i want to hear your input but mine is basically like a hippie crossed with a hipster or indie kid called Pentatonic. They are spiritual, color is lime green, and support music and the semi good faction so that leaves the very good faction, semi bad faction and very bad faction. I want to hear your input so type all of the other factions you think would be good down here in the parenthesis and state your name.

( )

The scenery would be a destroyed suburbia and have places like westside for towns.poverty and starvation would be would be a large problem. the more into NJ you get the less radiation there is and at one point there would actually be a small jungle about twice the size of oasis. In the city radiation would be so bad in parts that they force you to go through the wreckage of buildings in some spots. and the best Easter egg every would be on the coastline of NJ and you'll see snookis dead body on the beach.

It should be more like fo3 in the story/quest/npc aspect but have more animations the character can do. they should also make sneak attack kills where if you have a perk are hidden and hit the person in the back of the neck with a knife or poison filled syringe its an instant kill There should be much more melee weapons, they add to the somewhat realism of the game because guns would be hard to come by. you should be able to buy property and at one point design the appearance and personality of a love interest with out mods. And lastly desigh a body type like in saints row or another game were you can decide if you want triple z cup boobs.

What about a Fallout set in Texas? A nice deep south setting could be interesting... hillbilly ghouls, towns full of quirky characters, and lots of enthusiastic gun owners! Ok, in all serious something that combined the vast open wasteland of Fallout 3 with the sharp dialogue and lovable companions of New Vegas would suit me fine wherever it was set. But the deep south has so much potential for DLC; you could get a boat to New Orleans (Jazz Ghouls!), cross the border into Mexico for some wild west Magnificent 7 style gunfights or head up into the blue tipped mountains of Virginia on a hunt for lost treasure (with the radio playing that very same tune). Also, maybe this time it would be good to play as a character who isn't 'good by default' like in fallotu 3. You know, raised in a safe and secure vault, saves the wasteland regardless of any alignment, etc etc... maybe you can start of as a raider then something happens that gives your character a chance to reform... or slip back into his murderous ways. That would make more sense than some vault kid stepping out into the world for the very first time and becoming Adolf Hitler within minutes. Some of these other ideas have been great though - the commonwealth robots one is my favourite (I'd like to see more of those robots in Fallout 4 anyway) but I don't like the idea of all factions having alignments. Dividing the world into good/evil/boring is a pretty crude way of looking at things. Can't the nice factions have some nasty members and there be a few friendly (ish) raiders about the place? --89.242.133.34 19:36, November 17, 2011 (UTC) Joe

I want it set somewhere near the capital wasteland , because i want to know what the canon fallout 3 stuff is (and dont say [NOO that will ruin the choice waaaah] because otherwise we will never be able to play on the east coast again , and also , eventually they have to decide what actually happens , like with fallout 1 and 2 ) i want East coast Bos to have a tiny role in the game , BUT not in the story .. i dont want any enclave stuff apart from maybe an old set of armour or an old remnant or something , i want a map thats fun to explore (like fallout 3s) and not full of empty locations with no loot , and i want a cool story about survival instead of some political bullshit or an EVIL MASTERMIND !! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!! .. ... *sigh* ...
