Alright, I'm CONVINCED this game hates me now.

I've made it all the way to the Hub, and I'm doing the Find the Missing Caravans quest (the one with the Deathclaw). After being curbstomped mercilessly by this thing, I go back to town when all of a sudden, the screen goes black except for my character's position (it's like he's standing in the middle of space). Sometimes this happens and running my mouse over the affected areas or just going in and out of the Pip-Boy will solve it completely, although it's usually the HUD on the bottom that's affected and not the whole screen. But now not only is it the whole screen, it won't stop. Every few seconds, the screen goes black again. The game's completely unplayable and it's annoying because I've been playing it for a week and have gotten really into it.

Is there any way to fix this problem? Preferably without losing my saved game or flinging the disk against the wall in a fit of rage? Please help!

Oh, I'm playing this on the Fallout Trilogy collection, if that helps at all.Son of God-Enel 16:38, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
