As we're ALL aware, the Fallout universe has left us with many unanswered questions, and locations only hinted at in the right conversations. It would make sense that the Great War affected the entire globe, and not just the United States and Canada.

That being said, I would propose that Bethesda give us a peek at what post-nuclear life would be like here in AUSTRALIA. Of course, seeing that information in the Fallout world is mostly taken from "old world" knowledge, it would make some sense that Australia would revert to its former "VanDiemen's Land" title. Here's some other reasons:

- Australia has the perfect topography for the Fallout series, lush and tropical on the coasts, and similiar to the Mojave in the centre. - We're home to some of the most venomous spiders and snakes in the entire world...imagine a "Rad-Huntsman" or "Giant Irradiated Brown Snake" on your ass! - Major landmarks such as Ayers Rock would be perfect Vault locations. - Tasmania would make for great DLC, including creatures like a mutated Tasmanian Devil, and a recombined Thylacine or Tasmanian Tiger.

Add the fact that we also have some of the worlds most reknowned scientists and institutions...this could emphasize the whole "science recreating what they have no business recreating" scenario we see so much of in the game. I believe that if this was researched and done correctly, "Fallout: VanDiemen's Land" could be a spectacular addition to the series.

Just sayin...
