A little bit, i mean.. i know caeser is a socio-patchic slaverwho degenerates women and bases his entire philosiphy on forced labour and slave soldiers, but if you ever make a save where you join the legion you find out that caeser's main goal is to have one huge united country all under one banner (just like NCR) he's fighting for a 'greater good' although in fairness i have to agree he's a prick

:Caesar does not degrade women in any respect; he just doesn't see them fit for combat roles and thus they aren't deployed in the front lines. In the Legion everyone plays their part, and the role of a woman is not a role of war. ::He's responsible for fomenting a culture in which women are bound into being literal domestic slaves and breeders, and you don't think he degenerates women? What, do you think the Legion hold 'best babymaker' tournaments so that their women can share in any of the glory that the legionaries get?

Not relly, I never killed ceaser, mr house gets angry if you suggest that and even yes man thinks that too. The NCR is the only one who benefits from it and I hate the NCR so I have never had to.

Well, sure Legion is the worst coiche for step in power, but if you are asking who's better to put in charge between him and Lanius, I think is Caesar. He has a plan, altough is trully a fuck up one, but at least the guy has a vision to build a society. Lanius is a warrior, he don't care about politics or social-economics, only fighting and killing. If you are doing a CL tour, I think it's best to do whatever you can to keep him alive. [[User:Brfritos|Brfritos]] 19:50, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

I assassinated him in My Caesar's Legion playthrough simply because I knew that Lanius would become Caesar and I am Idolized by the Legion so it is only natural after I prove myself at the battle of Hoover Dam that he will choose me for Legate. Then it is only a matter of time before Lanius dies and I become the new Caesar.

No. Again, he's just not a sympathetic character to me. He might proclaim to be working towards a noble goal, but he's still an arrogant, unlikable and amoral man. And I'm certainly not above feeling regret for killing characters that deserve it - I almost always feel a little guilty for killing Benny at the Fort, simply because he displays humility when you're about to do it.

No, especially since the Legion is still resupplying the drop boxes weeks later!DarthOrc 19:53, June 17, 2011 (UTC)DarthOrc

Caesar does not degrade women in any respect; he just doesn't see them fit for combat roles and thus they aren't deployed in the front lines. In the Legion everyone plays their part, and the role of a woman is not a role of war. Hugs MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
He's responsible for fomenting a culture in which women are bound into being literal domestic slaves and breeders, and you don't think he degenerates women? What, do you think the Legion hold 'best babymaker' tournaments so that their women can share in any of the glory that the legionaries get?

Not relly, I never killed ceaser, mr house gets angry if you suggest that and even yes man thinks that too. The NCR is the only one who benefits from it and I hate the NCR so I have never had to.

I mean.. Sure The Legion is 'bad' with Caesar at the helm or not, but think about what kind of depraved, corrupt, or vicious person might be taking over The Legion in his stead, driving it into full rampage. Caesar was an intellectual, and a charismatic leader, the next leader of The Legion could be a whole other breed of monster.

No, I have no qualms in the slightest when the Courier terminates with extreme prejudice that puffed up a$$hole of a socio-path. He has caused untold harm to thousands of people, is directly responsible for the murder of thousands more and the enslavement of untold thousands and the complete degredation of women. This makes Edward Sallow probably the most deserving of all FO:NV NPC's for a bullet between the eyes. I just recently killed him with Joshua Graham's .45 Colt automatic A Light Shining in the Darkness, a whole clip of hollow point straight to the head. Yes, Caesar saw the light folks! The Light of Righteous justice dispatching him to enternal damnation! [evil grin] And his replacement will also be dispatched in the same way fairly soon. I always take Boone with me to wipe out Legion as I think he gets a real sense of satisfaction in offing all those Legion guys.

And to quote Mark Antony from Shakespeare, "I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him!" Captain Taipan 12:47, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Quite simply, no. I see no downside to killing him. Thats like saying is there a downside to killing Bin Laden. Sure someone worse may come along and take his place, but if and when that happens we will hunt them down and kill them too. You cant let tyranny go unchecked, the outcome of that is always worse. With a cry of "SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS" I entered Caesars tent and With a squeeze of The survivalists rifle, a bullet flew into his skull bringing wasteland justice to him. I felt very good a bout it too. ToestheUnwholy 18:23, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

If you think we're on the run
We are the boys who will stop your little game
We are the boys who will make you think again
So who do you think you are kidding Mr Caesar
If you think the bear is done?
