Hello fellow Nukapedians, my name is Gothic Neko and the preceding is my application for the Chat Moderator status.

Reasoning for Application

I joined the Nukapedia wiki in March 2011, since then I have been an active user on the Wiki Chat feature and, in the past and as of more recently, the blog articles. I also look into the Recent Changes section, reverting bad edits and also make grammatical and spelling correction edits for all articles.

Since my humble beginnings on the site I have earned the friendship and, I hope, trust of many users, often welcoming some new users as they appear on chat themselves. I have, as previously mentioned, actively engaged with the community in my time spent here with the primary source of communication through the Wiki Chat feature, which undoubtedly many will recognise me from. It is there I spend a vast amount of my time on the Wiki, talking with other users and settling arguments and actively approaching new users.

It is also through the Chat feature I was prompted to consider the Chat Moderator status, something I believe would be of great benefit for me, to help in my tolerance of rule breakers, and for the benefit of the Chat itself. I make no allusions to my some what “silly” exterior but, as proven many-a-times before, if the need arises for a mediator or for the end of a heated debate I have remained serious and logical in all my actions. I have also applied this serious nature to debates within blogs, both to remain impartial with other users and to end an argument prior to it starting.

It is from these reasons as to why I have made this application for Chat Moderator status, and, with the help of the community, I will make use of the new rights accordingly in all my actions on the Nukapedia Wiki space.

Availability

My typical hours for availability are 18:00 PM (BST) till 01:00 AM (BST) for weekdays and available all standard hours, 10:00 AM (BST) till 22:00 PM (BST), weekends.

• I think my vote is a given :) But I do want to say that editcount is not very significant at all when considering a chat mod request. It is only there to ensure some degree of participation in editing and to answer possible queries in chat. I'm confident that Neko knows plenty about the games, and his edits are all good.
