I'm playing Fallout 3 1.5, UK version, with no mods and in normal difficult. In the quest Future Imperfect Amata is being harassed by Butch DeLoria and his gang. I made a mistake and instead pressing the button to talk to Butch I press "grab" and push him, making him and his gang become hostile to me. Don't ask me why, but I managed to kill him after a long fight, even if the message displayed was "Butch is Unconscious". I also loose karma for this, becoming evil, and in the quest Trouble in the Homefront I was not given the option to sabotage Vault 101, only deal with the Overseer and Amata.
