This is just a minor complaint (but very frustrating)! I've been playing through Broken Steel doing the side quests. I'm on protecting the water, and I've noticed that when talking to NPC's that they seem to be in a bad chinese/english dubbed movie! Plus the textures in the background keep trying to focus in and out like the game is still loading them. The biggest complaint though is that my game freezes ALL THE TIME! Sometimes when I try to save, sometimes extremely lagging/freezing as I'm walking along the WL. I've got all my follwers (8) with me, and the game + DLC's are loaded on my hard drive. So what's the issue? Do I just need to wait for a patch, because having to reset the system for the 10th time in 30 min is making it unplayable!Angelonedge 23:48, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

did you pirate the DLC --96.243.180.70 16:52, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
I too have noticed broken steel seems to have made the game less stable / slower. It's been peaking my video card at an unhealthy 95C in some places (at which point it usually freezes or crashes due to the card overheating) where before it used to get not nearly as hot. Mind you, that's 95C with the case side open and an external fan blowing on the card. So it seems like Broken Steel made the game in pretty dire need of optimizing in some areas. Have you tried turning the settings down even lower to reduce the load? --lordebon 17:35, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
  • It's running fine on my machine, haven't had any issues with lag.My specs

Lol should have made my playing system more clear! I'm on the 360 so thanks to all the PC players out there that responded but that doesn't help me.Angelonedge 22:21, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Reviving this as I've experienced this lag/freezing outside of quests just wondering the wastes. Really thinking about just waiting for a patch before continuing play. Anyone have any ideas to try and fix this? Once again Xbox 360 up to date on patches. Angelonedge 12:48, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
