Hey all, another quick question about the film as I am struggling to decide and, again, don't want to act unilaterally. There is a lot of discrepancy between whether it should be referred to as the 'Fallout film' or the 'Fallout movie' in the pages, templates etc. What's the preference?

Personally I prefer film because that is what the majority of templates have it as, as well as the portal and the 'film treatment', so does anyone object to me changing references to the movie to film?

Either or is fine. Seeing as you've done 90% of the film stuff anyway I see no reason why you can't choose the rule of thumb on this one. I have no objections. JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 18:55, January 2, 2014 (UTC)

Film tends to be more British English, whereas movie more American English (and in Australian English "Films" are arty, whereas "movies" are general entertainment). This is a long way of me saying I lean towards movie. Agent c (talk) 07:15, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks Jasp, it may come down to that. I'm not concerned with British vs American in this instance, because both are common use. I think I have decided to use film by now Chad, the deciding factor being Interplay Films. Unless you are really adamant...? -- GOTW User | Talk 17:51, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
